I have been going to Cocoon for a few months. I love the variety of classes they have from yoga, sculpt, and pilates. The studio is cute and clean. They have a variety of props to be used during classes and at the end of class they clean the props for you which I think is nice and maintains a high level of cleanliness. Every instructor I’ve had is very well educated and experienced in teaching and providing a really high quality class experience, like gently correcting form and providing guidance to perform the moves correctly. Something I also enjoy about Cocoon is that the instructors always provide a few moments of breathing and a motivating and uplifting message with each class. I always leave Cocoon feeling so good!
I visited Cocoon on a Friday afternoon after a long, demanding week and it was exactly what I needed. I chose the Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing class, and the experience was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The staff was kind and welcoming the moment I arrived, and the team worked seamlessly to help guide me into the practice. The class itself was deeply relaxing a perfect way to unwind and transition into the weekend. The combination of sound healing and Yoga Nidra created a calm, grounding space where I could completely disconnect from the week’s stress and reset my energy. I left feeling lighter, and at peace. I highly recommend Cocoon to anyone especially busy professionals navigating stressful or emotionally heavy workweeks. This class offers a beautiful opportunity to release tension, quiet your mind, and truly rest. I’m already looking forward to visiting again soon.
I’ve been a member at Cocoon for close to three years, and it has truly changed my life. The owners, teachers, and members create such a welcoming community—you instantly feel at home. I’ve learned so much here that I carry with me outside the studio. What makes Cocoon special is that the focus is not on how you look, but how you feel. I’ve learned how to properly breathe. I’ve discovered that releasing noise (like a long sigh) is good for my nervous system. I’ve embraced the mindset that “nothing is forever, it’s just right now” when class gets challenging. I’ve learned to recognize the difference between discomfort and pain—and that leaning into safe discomfort makes you stronger. And I’ve come to appreciate that everyone’s body is different, so each day is about doing what you can without comparison, because no one is watching or judging. Beyond the amazing variety of classes (Yoga, Pilates, Barre, Sculpt), I love that Cocoon is a locally owned studio that also gives back to the community through workshops, events and fundraisers. Since joining, I feel stronger mentally, physically, and spiritually—and I’ve met the most kind-hearted people along the way. If you’re looking for more than just a workout, Cocoon will welcome you, challenge you, and change your life.
As someone who has practiced yoga for over 20 years in many different styles and studios, I love Cocoon Yoga and Movement Studio so much! It’s become my home away from home here in Tampa. There is so much heart, depth and community- the place seriously oozes with love. They offer an amazing variety of both heated and non heated classes including vinyasa, yin, barre, Pilates, movement, sculpt, yoga nidra, sound healing, workshops, retreats, and more. There is something for everyone, for every day, for every mood. Highly recommend!!!
Cocoon is truly a sanctuary. The teachers are all great - they’re knowledgeable, encouraging, and skilled at creating classes that work for everyone. What I love most is the genuine sense of community here. I’ve gotten to know many of my fellow practitioners over time, and there’s something special about sharing this practice with the same welcoming faces week after week. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance of calm without any pretentiousness. If you’re looking for more than just a workout - if you want to be part of a warm, authentic yoga community - this is your place. Highly recommend!
