We use Cody & Sons for our bi-annual PM service on HVAC and plumbing. Jordan came out and checked everything to ensure our heater was ready for the upcoming cold weather. He is very professional but also friendly. He answered all my questions and made sure he made me aware of any issues. Great representative of an amazing company!
I do feel like this company was just trying to get a quick buck instead of actually diagnosing my problem. I was told “o just replace my whole water heater unit” which in the near future wouldn’t be an issue but I was never told why it wasn’t working. The tech said he simply didn’t know… and I was charged $89 for an “idk”, “just replace it”. So I called another company to come look and they took one look at my water heater laughed and said it simply wasn’t on! He turned the valve got the pilot to light, told me to give it and hour or so and try it and now my water heater is working perfectly fine! I think this company was just trying to make a sell which I’m not mad at but if u are going to charge for diagnostic on water heaters at least be willing to truly help people find out the source of the issue not just take a 2min look at it and say “o just replace the whole unit”.
We needed a whole house drainage replacement and a sewer main line replacement because our 70 yr old home still had the original cast iron pipes and they finally failed. Cody & Sons' estimate came in $10K less than the other quotes we received. They were recommended to us by a friend who said they had a great reputation in their neighborhood. Adarius was in charge of the project and was AMAZING the entire time. (Give him a big fat raise, we love that guy!) Co-owners Mark & Philip were with us every step of the way for when we ran into the inevitable challenges. Paula and Carla in the office provided great customer service and were very helpful in getting us through the financing process. We don't expect to have any more plumbing problems but if we do, we'll always call Cody & Sons. Highly recommended!
