My toddler recently had a haircut at Cookie Cutters, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely patient and kind, making my child feel comfortable throughout the appointment. They kept the kids engaged with TV entertainment, and the setup even includes a play area where children can enjoy themselves after the haircut. Our stylist Laray, was especially warm and gentle, and we truly appreciated her care and professionalism. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we would definitely recommend this place for kids’ haircuts.
I took my son to Cookie Cutters for a hair cut on Friday (1/23) and being that my 5 year old son has had shoulder length hair (for years) and wanted it cut short "like a boy" made this hair cut kind of a big deal. My son's dad wanted to keep some of our son's hair (me as well) so the stylist put our son's hair in a few pigtails and cut them so they'd be neat for us to take on the ride home with us. I unfortunately didn't catch the name of the stylist that cut my son's hair, but she was warm and friendly and made my son feel comfortable. The end result? The stylist didn't just give my son a great hair cut, she's also given him more confidence wherever he goes. ln fact my son loves his haircut so much he keeps catching a glimpse of himself in the mirror and smiling and has told me he can't wait to go back to Kindergarten tomorrow (Monday) to show off his hair. And that my friends is how you know a stylist did a job well done and is worth going back to. ❤️
This was my daughter's first haircut and I was pretty nervous. All I wanted was her hair to be cut a bit shorter because it was getting stringy at the ends. And it went so well! The hairdresser was very nice, asked me how I wanted it to be cut and let my kids play afterwards on the cute car chairs. Great experience!
We had a big gymnastics competition coming up and needed a clean high bun done fast—and Cookie Cutters came through. I made an appointment, they got us in on time, and the price felt fair for a quick special-event style. My daughter’s bun looked great, she was genuinely happy with it, and they even added hair sparkles which made her feel extra confident for the day. Perfect spot if you need a kid-friendly, low-stress “get ready” stop before an event. Highly recommend. Our stylist was Shannon!
I was pretty disappointed in both of my kids hair cuts. My daughter has long hair. I asked for it to be trimmed and to have long layers in the front that could go in a ponytail. There are layers in the front, but they don't stay in a ponytail and the cut is uneven. I told the stylist where she parted her hair and he just cut it how it fall after brushing it. My son, I ask for something similar to a crew cut, but a little longer on top. It's not blended well and there are several pieces that were missed. I looks more like a buzz cut with very blunt lines.
