my first session was a 90min hot yoga with Paul. great instructor, intense class, a lot of encouragement and direction to help guide the practice. highly recommend.
Did a restore class while we were in town for a girls weekend and we loved it. Heather was a great instructor and we appreciated the class! If I lived here, we would absolutely go to more classes. Plus their locker room is one of the best I've seen.
My initial class was fantastic. The instructor was exceptional, and the room temperature was just right. Remember, punctuality is key; arriving early is arriving on time. Ensure you're there before the class begins, or you won't gain entry as the email reminder states. Regrettably, I faltered on this for my second class and was unable to attend. However, the reception staff handled it graciously, acknowledging the importance of maintaining a conducive environment for ongoing classes.
If you’re into cardio yoga vs zen vinyasa flow type yoga, this is your spot. Rating this place 2 stars for the following reasons: - I did the sculpt class. The horrible EDM music was already SO loud. The instructor wanted to turn it up louder but couldn’t figure it out thank goodness. - I definitely got a workout from the sculpt class, if you go 2-3x per week you would be in great shape! - I’m on the hunt for my yoga studio home in the Springs. It was my first time going last Sunday. My instructor was also the one to check me in, Erica. I wanted to do the free week to give this place a try before committing. When she asked me how I wanted to pay, said I wanted to do the free week. She made me feel like a criminal by saying “sometimes it doesn’t go through (I thought oh no, their system must have trouble at times) if you’ve done the free week already.” No duh it wouldn’t go through if I had done the free week already. She could have just processed my request without saying that, and instead made me feel uncomfortable like I was faking not having done the free week yet or something. - When class was over, as I was walking out of the studio I told her “thank you, the class kicked my butt!” She responded with “yeah, that’s the point.” Erica is bad vibes! She made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome at CorePower. Nothing could get me to go back there. I can get a solid workout elsewhere without having horrible EDM blasted in my ears and with better vibes. Also, they don’t mop the floors between classes. Gross.
CorePower like all yoga studios is about the teachers. And in my personal opinion Julia Archer is an amazing teacher and anytime you can get in her class I highly recommend it. The CorePower yoga studio is clean and well maintained. The merchandise area is great if you're a woman. As a man who likes yoga as their main exercise I do wish they had more me items for sale.
