Earlier this year a friend of mine mentioned that he and his wife had visited Corti Brothers and indulged in their very delicious sandwiches. At the time I thought: “Good sandwiches are easy to find, what makes their sandwiches any better?” Fast-forward to the present day, YouTube suggested that I watch an influencer’s review on Corti Brothers’ sandwiches. After watching the well-orchestrated review, I was sold on trying their highly sought-after sandwiches. Unfortunately, I was not present when my wife picked up our sandwiches; therefore, I cannot speak to the customer service experience. However, she did mention that they had good customer service; and even though they were busy, their ordering mechanism made for an efficient experience. Since this was our first time having on e of their sandwiches, my wife chose the Spicy Molinari sandwich option (they also provide a build-your-own option) for the two of us. I tried to hide my excitement as she entered our home with the coveted sandwiches in hand. I definitely see why there is so much hype over these sandwiches, they are absolutely delicious! From the buttery taste of the bread, to the fresh produce (not all sandwich spots use fresh produce), down to the quality of the cheese…you could tell that this sandwich was handcrafted with love! I only had two complaints (I’m using the word lightly in this case)…one being that the sandwich had no hint of spiciness (maybe my tolerance is too high?) and two being that the sandwich was fairly small (can we have size options please?). In the future, I look forward to living a bit on the wild side and trying their build-your-own sandwich option!
I went in to view their Amaro selection. And it did not disappoint. Found absolute gems here. Will definitely be back for more later, also met one of the Corti brothers and got a history lesson about Madeira and Port wine. Now looking to learn and drink that.
Best sandwiches we have had in a long time. Remember to fill out the sandwich paper order card, don't take a number, then time stamp, and finally leave in the order in bowl. We have now been here 4 times.
This local east sac staple since 1847 has and amazing deli section so many cheeses meats homemade items like tamales and composed salads. Authentic tic Italian noodles and house baked breads . I recommend hitting this spot up. We stopped in after decades of driving by and never knowing how amazing it is. Supporting local cheese makers, olive oil creations and wines. This places sandwiches top the cake . Super fresh amazing breads and spreads th recommend thw Tuscany. So rich. And delish. And the potions on the sandwiches were perfect in ratio of ALL the ingredients
A fantastic place that my family has been going too since the '90s. Wonderful sandwiches and a robust meat department that you have to taste to see the difference. Patrick was very helpful in helping me pick out some choice New York steaks for a family dinner. Voted the best store in Sacramento.
