We are traveling through Memphis & stopped in based on the excellent reviews. It didn’t disappoint! The honey lavender matchas were delicious, made with an actual bamboo brush/bowl, the cold brew was amazing & the espresso perfect! Mary was our barista & was so helpful & friendly & crafted beautiful drinks for us. It is also a dog-friendly cafe, which is awesome bc we’re traveling with our sweet Boston Terrier, Nala. Can’t wait to return!
December 28, 2025 - 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My journey for the best cup of coffee brought me to Memphis, Tennessee, where I discovered Crazy Gander Coffee Company. What a delightful find! This little, understated shop lived up to its name as the coffee was CRAZY good. I enjoyed two espresso drinks: a Cortado and an Americano. Both were made with single sourced organic beans from Bali and were simply outstanding! The staff of three were friendly and engaging. They were well versed in the business and provided excellent customer service. Journey, the manager, gladly explained the operation of the shop. She even provided a sample of the house cold brew, made from a special blend of freshly roasted beans. If you are ever in Memphis and want a truly great cup of coffee, Crazy Gander is a must visit. You will not be disappointed. This was a true 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ visit.
the cutest little coffee shop tucked away in downtown Memphis. I got an iced honey latte and my family tried the German chocolate lattes iced and the drinks were delicious. The service was amazing and the baristas were friendly and accommodating.
As a flight attendant, I always enjoy exploring local coffee spots during my layovers. This was my first visit, and I absolutely loved it. The customer service was outstanding, the atmosphere was welcoming, and my cappuccino was flawless—smooth, balanced, and truly lovely. When I see just one size for a cappuccino on the menu, I know the place takes coffee seriously. Thank you, Crazy Gander, for this hidden gem!
Coffee is was great quality, atmosphere was chill and service was amazing. A younger girl with somewhat green/brown hair helped us the morning we went. She didn’t realize how bad of a morning we had but walking in there, she was so welcoming and helpful with options and even suggestions on places to eat in the area. Really helped turn our morning around. I hope she sees this and I hope the establishment realizes having kind and friendly employees make a difference in experience when customers come in.
