Another HVAC Company (Rhymes with ASCAR) came out last week and quoted me an outrageous price so the next day I called Dallas Heating and Air. I had a Freon leak and needed a new coil. I showed them the quote from the prior company and they gave me a quote $1000 less. I was going to schedule it the next week and after 7 days, my AC was not blowing cold air again and it and was 80 degrees outside. So I called them back and they were at my doorstep within 30 minutes! He said that my freon was almost empty and I needed a new coil ASAP. I already had the quote so went ahead and approved them to do the work. I called to see when they could change it out and they said tomorrow or Monday (after the weekend). The technician had gone to his truck and then came back and said they could be out tomorrow morning between 8-12 to install a new Coil and gave me enough freon to last me until tomorrow. Plus he did not charge me for today's service fee. I WAS SO THANKFUL!!! I will always call this AC company with any issues I have. Thank you so much!!! I called this company on a Friday evening when my AC stopped working suddenly. Initially I was told that the charge for an after hours call would be $150, but later realized that they charged me $175. The issue was a clogged drain line. In the past, an AC tech from other company was able to blow out the line and resolve this issue easily. Dallas Heating and AC charged over $300 for this service and they were unable to resolve the clog. As a result, I had to pay an additional charge for a plumber to come out and provide the same service, which cleared the line. While the AC tech was nice, I am very frustrated that I paid almost $500 and ended up paying another company to actually resolve the problem. I only went with this company because I needed emergency service, and I am unlikely to work with them again.
I called the Dallas Air Conditioning Service at 10:30 AM today. Amanda said they would be here between noon and four today, for ac service. 11:15 Vincent and Junior were here, at my Condo, today!! Vincent and Junior were nice, professional Vincent knew what he was doing,, “ I need a new Air Conditioner. “ I bought this condo a month and a half ago. There were problems with plumbing, moved into the condo. Now I will know that air conditioning and plumbing are tip top with Dallas Air Conditioning and Plumbing. This will take a while with a New ac. I’ll be back with the new ac and I’ll post again! Thank you, Vincent, Junior, Amanda and Dallas Air Conditioning Service.
The fast response was so welcome as the hot Dallas summer is upon us. I called for help at 7:55 a.m. and my serviceman was here an hour later. My good fortune. Thanks to Vince for his knowledge of HVAC and friendly attitude. I'll be using them again.
My experience today was perfect. He came on time, he was friendly and knowledgeable, he checked everything and had my problem (a/c not cooling for more than six months) fixed in less than 30 minutes! Extremely grateful for him. I hope I don’t have to call again, but if I do, I know exactly who I’m calling. Thank you for everything! Highly recommend.
