Easy peasy state inspection. Went here waited about 10 minutes and was out. I go here every year for my state inspection. I would highly recommend going here no BS no wait. Fast and reliable gentleman.
I went in to get an oil change and have my filters and windshield wipers replaced. When I pulled up, the guy didn’t acknowledge me, so I walked inside and waited while he finished with another customer’s car. About 10 minutes later, a couple of young women walked in but decided to wait in their car. When the mechanic finished with the other customer, I asked him about a Groupon. He responded with an attitude, then went out to help the women first, even though I has been there at least 10 minutes before them. He clearly knew I was there first, since he saw me walk in and also saw me through the window.
Just got a emissions test but the guy was very good. Working alone got me in and out in probably 10 minutes.
My wife took our dodge for inspection and the guy fails it. That happens and it's understandable. Then she proceeds to tell me how badly the guy had treated her. Talked to her like she couldn't possibly understand, was insulting and rude, failed to explain the issue. Heads up chief, my wife was a certified state inspector for many years, as was I. She understands. Guy fails the truck for an "exhaust leak". As the truck had been in the shop that week for a few issues related to age, and was checked out stem to stern, I doubted that. He made it a point to ask her if he she had a good exhaust guy, cause he can recommended one... of course he can. I took the truck to have him look this morning, asked him to show me. He showed me the weep hole in my muffler. Belongs there.A muffler weep hole is a small hole in the muffler designed to drain water and condensation, a natural byproduct of combustion. I've personally inquired about it actually, thinking it was a leak and thats how I know. See? He didn't. Then proceeded to argue with me in the lot. At the end he had the gall to tell me "ill tell you what, im going to talk to so and so at (shop who shall remain unnamed)..." no. Bit of insight here to tie it all together: the guy he said he was going to consult with had cost me a grand in bad repairs on my truck years before. No chance he touches any of my vehicles again. Not sure what more to say, terrible service, rude, my wife and I feel hes totally in solid to refer his "necessary repairs " to a shop for gain. When I told him I was going to contact the state as their certified state inspector doesn't know what a weep hole is, he told me "go for it, I work for the state good luck." Dont go here. I've been going 20 years and never encountered anyone quite like this. I get 4 inspections there a year, every year. Never again.
