After 5 years of being a loyal customer, I had the worst experience today with Claire. I’ve gotten countless Brazilian waxes without issue until today when Claire informed me of a “new policy.” When hair wasn’t fully removed and I pointed it out she said if there was anything beyond two fingers there would be an additional charge and that’s the only way she could remove the hair. I was in shock and dumbfounded by her refusal to completely wax me without an additional charge because of a new limitation on Brazilian waxes. Trying to nickel and dime customers instead of performing long time services at the same standard level customers are accustomed to not only speaks to you devaluing your loyal customers but highlights the lack of care you have for maintaining a quality business. I would expect better, but now know not to from this establishment.
I’ve been a client here for well over a year. The waxes themselves were fine never bad, but nothing that stood out either. The studio is pretty basic, nothing special, and I honestly only signed up for the subscription because it was about five dollars off. Once you add the tip, it ends up costing the same as any other waxing studio in Dallas. The real reason I’m writing this review is the subscription process. Canceling is extremely difficult and feels intentionally set up to fail. Even though they market that you can go to any location, you can only cancel at the exact location where you opened the subscription. They also keep a $60 credit on your account, and you’re not allowed to use that credit if you pause or try to cancel. So you’re stuck with a balance they won’t apply or refund, and they won’t let you fully cancel either. It ends up being a loop that feels like a scam, especially when the services aren’t any better than what you can get anywhere else. I would personally go to any other waxing studio in Dallas before repeating this experience.
Brenna is the reason why I keep coming back here. She is extremely professional and she does great with waxing. She immediately made me feel comfortable and talks to me through the whole wax. Definitely recommend her! Rest of the staff is very friendly! :)
I am new to the area and was in search of a wax home for a few weeks now and I’m so happy to have found Depil— Dallas. The experience was good! I was greeted by the receptionist with good energy and a smile. As a first-time Customer she had to confirm residency and then she instructed me to the waiting area. The entire space is clean and smells great.
