I’ve been going to Yvonne for years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. She is amazing and gets it perfect every time. If you’re looking for someone talented, consistent, and truly caring, I highly recommend her.
If I could give zero stars I would. I was a good reliable client for months on end. I was called and asked to reschedule a different time than what was on the books for my most recent appointment. I accepted that request to then realize I couldn’t. I was told I had to pay for my appointment anyway. 1/2 for not showing and the other half to be applied to my next service. And never an apology. I told them to charge me 100% and delete my contact and credit card information and lose me as a client. Sure enough they charged me 100% for trying to reschedule me. Good riddance Dessert Root may you never do anyone else dirty like you did me.
Alex cut my hair and did an incredible job. I have a lot of hair and was worried about going to a new salon. However, Alex knew how to handle my hair and was very gentle with me. She did exactly what I asked for and left it better than I imagined. She is also the sweetest and the environment was very warm and welcoming.
I haven’t ever been this happy with a stylist in all of my 55 years. Alex is perceptive, listens, and yet can confidently lead towards the right direction. She hits the bullseye with my highlights and cuts, even though I have tricky-to-work-with fine, straight hair. It’s been hard to find someone whose only agenda is maximizing what you already have. Now I like my hair again AND enjoy my time in her chair. A win-win. If you’re looking for an up and coming hair stylist who will go far in her career, Alex is the one for you.
I was looking for a new stylist after mine moved away. Due to my schedule, I've been with 3 different stylists here and they were all excellent. Alex is my bomb girl now and always love her assessment of my aging 40ish hair and leave the salon happy!
