The person we were helped by (the bill says Yves), went above and beyond to help two travellers with a rental car. We came because we lost pressure in one tyre. He found out that our rental car had terrible tyres, which was absolutely true. He fixed the tyre, gave us a discount and even included on the bill that the tyres are unsafe. He then proceeded to call two different rental car locations and had them change our car for no additional costs. We are very glad this is where we stopped and will never forget it. We are Germans and I assure you, in our country you will not find ONE place who will help you with your rental car agency, too.

Thieves, plain and simple. You go in for an oil change and, like clockwork, a few hours later you get a phone call with a laundry list of things that need to be changed on your vehicle. On two separate occasions, I had brought my car in for an oil change, and asked them to check a vibration and a sound one of the wheels was making. Both times ended up totaling $3500, and when they gave me the car back, the sound and vibration were still there. I decided to take my car back to a dealer instead. The dealer explained that the wheels had been misaligned and that the part they changed was defective. Avoid Desharnais on Charest. Again, thieves, plain and simple.

Never ever go to this place to align your car. I went to simply align my car after having done repairs by my regular mechanic, and I had to do it there because I couldn't go back to my hometown that week. They refused to align my car after wasting 1 hour of my time. The reason was that I had to do more repairs, 2000$ of estimated repairs. I refused to proceed with the repairs and went back to hometown, I found out they were bullshiting to get more money. So wrong, I will never go back there.

They will steal your money and not fix your car/van properly, while suggesting you need to repair things that don't need repairing. Linda, one manager there, is super friendly though - the only positive thing I have to say about the place. She went out of her way to try to make the situation better. This doesn't make up for the fact that I wasted more than 700$ on repairs that I needed to have fixed at another garage. This is after I spent 1000$ on tires here as well. The first time here, they "fixed" my wheel sealant, which broke the same day. Then they said I needed to fix my bearing since it busted too with the sealant. This wasn't addressed in the first fix. I was also charged for all the oil that leaked everywhere because of this negligence. It caused me to miss a family vacation that we had planned and I missed half of a contract of work, not to mention had to rent a hotel because of these problems. Three months later it all broke again (the new mechanic said that it looked like an poor installation job) and I'm out who knows how much money in total. Refused to refund me anything when I explained the entire problem and why I could not return to the garage for repairs with their "guarantee". I was told there is a guarantee for fixing things if they break after repair but then there are new problems caused because it wasn't fixed well the first time so I had to pay for these. Even if I could have made it there, I have zero confidence in this business fixing anything. Merci beaucoup!
