I recently purchased a new mattress online from DWR. Unfortunately i was sent the wrong mattress and needed to have it swapped out. After contacting customer service a few times I felt I wasn’t getting anywhere. I contacted Ade in the Georgetown store and explained the situation. She was so kind and understanding. Like magic the issue was resolved in a few days. I am now happily sleeping on my new mattress and it is fantastic. I am so grateful to Ade for her help. Thanks Ade.

Ade Ademisoye greeted us warmly as we entered the store and then provided expert guidance in selecting a new office chair. Asking just a few key questions, she focused our search and brainstormed with us about fabric and color—all leading to the perfect complement to our small home office. We won’t hesitate to work with Ade again!

I can’t say enough good things about Ade who helped me with office chairs at DC’s Design Within Reach store in Georgetown. Ade was patient, understanding and professional every time I came into the store to look at chairs. She encouraged me to take my time and helped me make an informed decision about which chair to buy. She never hovered but made a practice of appearing whenever I had a question or needed her help. Listening to Ade helped me clarify what I was really looking for in an office chair and helped me see things I never would have seen or appreciated. More than anything else, though, I felt valued and heard from my first interaction coming through the door thru my purchase.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience trying to special order a Herman Miller chair. The representative(Louine Wailes) I spoke with repeatedly recommended chairs that were in stock, despite me requesting a custom order. It felt like he was trying to avoid helping me, even going so far as to say it was a 'new homework' for him. I still haven't received any follow-up email, and to make matters worse, I was able to contact Herman Miller directly and place a custom order in just 5 minutes. Terrible service. Just Do it yourself.

I really hope you have a better experience than I did, but you should avoid purchasing from this studio. I would recommend going here to only see the furniture in person and testing it out to see if it's comfortable or maybe clarify a color. THEN ORDER THROUGH THE MANUFACTURER NOT THE STUDIO. I ordered a herman miller sayl chair from here on December 3rd. There was some confusion with the color I wanted. The picture looked grey on the imagine I was shown and I made it clear that I wanted a white chair. I was told that the chair was actually white and that the lighting in the picture made it look grey. I trusted the person who worked there they would know better than me. Turns out the chair was grey when I got it. No big deal, honest mistake. My biggest issue is that it is now February 2nd and I'm still dealing with this problem. I still don't have the chair I actually wanted. On email exchanges and phone calls they tell me what I want to hear but no action has been taken, only suggestions about what they can do, which has only been offering me a partial refund. I made it clear I'd rather do what it takes to get the color I want. It seems like they have been stalling on purpose so that the return policy runs out. I have reached out to Herman Miller in hopes to get this situation handled. This is ridiculous.
