Assist manager austin did not go over price before pulling my vehicle in. I was asking about balancing and was informed my front tires were too low, so I said id come back for the whole job of getting front and rear tires instead of just rear today. They had already pulled my car in with no mention on cost and started the work, they could not stop as the tires were "too low for them to remount safely" Spoke to the manager Jared before posting this and he had not much to say. Tire protection was not offered to me Vehicle needs an alignment and I am unsure if i trust discount to do any work moving forward. Unfortunate as they have the most reasonable priced alignments. Austin at discount tire on State Street gave me the best deal on tires and rims for my SS Chevelle!!! I am a infantry veteran and they definitely showed their appreciation. I have been a discount tire customer for 20 years. Austin is trustworthy and helpful. Very professional. I was so happy!
When I was driving cross country, from Dayton, Ohio to Seattle, Washington, my rear passenger tire began to leak somewhere between Junction City Kansas and Denver. It wasn't bad at first, for a few days I could just pump it back up and it was fine for a day of driving. I was in Boise for the evening and the next morning the pressure was much lower, there was no way pumping it up again was going to work. By luck, my hotel was 500 feet from a Discount Tire (according to my phone). I went in and, without an appointment on a busy weekday morning, they had me in and out with a new tire in one hour. I was very impressed and deeply grateful. It didn't cost much either. I highly recommend this store. They will take care of you.
I started it my day trying to run an errand to Nampa. I ended up at discount tire to fix a potential flat. After the second inspection if my tire, they determined we would need a new tire. I was distraught. We got these tires hoping they would last. We spent extra money thinking that the quality would save us money. The man helping us went out of his way to take care of us and get us into a new set of tires that were better rated in the snow and cheaper than the pebbles set. What had the potential to be a terrible review and an awful situation, turned into a small headache. I will never go anywhere else. They were fast and efficient, as well as kind.
What a great experience. First time in a Discount Tire and I was very impressed. Matched lowest price I could find online. Worked with a nice guy named Austin. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. Got my tires ordered and was able to track their shipment. Scheduled an appointment and dropped the truck off. In exactly one hour tires were on and ready to roll. Quick and easy.
