I like Discount Tires. MY last visit was good, but the check in process was confusing. I walked in and they have two counters, no one greeted me, so I walked to counter on right. There were employees around but no one said anything to me. I waited quite awhile to finally get to check in, but it was not more than 10 minutes. Finally the manager Israel said “We’ll be with you soon.” I feel checking in for an online appointment should be less confusing & easier. My wait estimate was 45 minutes & they were about 15 minutes off- no biggie. My new wheels look great. I’m not sure if they inspected my wiper blades as they said nothing about that.
Brought car in for new tires only. Left shop with TPMS light on. Returned and it was reset by tech. Left again and returned because alert on again. Tech reset again and the states, take it to the dealer because it’s not shutting off. Take it to dealer and they state more than likely they damaged the sensor and they will charge 179.00 to check??? So I report this to tech and he responds, well if they find that we were responsible then we’ll pay you back. So not only did I spend almost 800.00, now I have to shell out an additional 179.00 to figure out what your company did? The car TPMS was working just fine before I enter the building. Sounds like court to me.
In my 35+ years of taking cars to shops, this is the absolute best. Every interaction has been so professional and positive. They didn't charge me to remove a nail from my tire so I went back, again, and again... They only charge for what they do when you go for an alignment, etc. and their staff is the most professional I've ever seen. I don't know how they get these great folks but hats off the management for getting them and keeping them. I bright light in an industry that can often be a real pain. Thank you for the great work everyone there does!!!
Pulled in at 6:20 pm, Jason treated us with great hospitality. Told us they were closed at 6, But knowing we were in a rough spot with a problem tire he looked it over, gave us our options and 30 minutes later had us, personally, back on the road with 4 new tires. Vacation could have been ruined, but Jason helped to make sure we were rolling on into the sunset. Great customer service Jason & the entire tire team!!!!
Discount Tire 1600 General Booth Blvd, Virginia Beach is where I go for my tires. Excellent and professional service no matter where or when I need to visit for tire services. To top it off, last Summer I was visiting family in Union Kentucky I had tire trouble with my OEM enclosed trailer tire. The closest Discount Tire was in Cincinnati, Ohio which is about 40 minutes away. The service was also excellent.
