Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program - Austin bietet spezialisierte ambulante Behandlungen bei Stimmungs- und Angststörungen und umfasst Teilstationäre Behandlungsprogramme (PHP) sowie Intensiv-ambulante Programme (IOP). This program was extremely unprofessional and harmful. Communication was poor, care was inconsistent, and important information was withheld until it was too late. They ignored outside medical recommendations, threatened families instead of supporting them, and created unnecessary stress during already difficult circumstances. I cannot recommend this place to anyone seeking reliable or compassionate mental health care.
At first it seemed like a great program....until you realize, that they do not offer lunch, for the PHP-program, as claimed. Everything was going well, in my opinion, until Lauren called me, and discharged me for no wrog doing of my own....My therapist Brian, should not be a therapist, he misread me, and I now believe he thought something that was not true, of me....and based on his lack of experience, I do not reccomend using this person, as a therapist. In my 3rd week, Lauren had called and abrudbtly discharged me, without proper explanation. I will say this, each day, during group, there was absenteism, and the therapist were constantly late, and would say "Take a walk", like a "mindfull walk". In return, I told Lauren, that I wanted my money back, as well as my Medical Records, to be sent to my Emergencey Contact. I also took a step further, and told my insurance company, of the expereince...my insurance company told me "to rest assure, we will not be processing, these claims, through Center Of Discovery.. Lauren, said she was going to contact the financial office for me, I would appreciate, my money back, as she claimed she was going to do that, to both me and my emergencey contact.
I feel like my review is long overdue. My child was just there and she completed the PHP program with discovery mood. I am so glad we chose this place. She has come night and day from when she started. A special Thank you to Ginger. Who always was ready to be connected and willing to help us in any way needed. Thank you for helping my daughter.
I’m very grateful for this program. Mental health is something to be taken seriously and from day one I always felt like Discovery and the staff understood that and stand by it. My mental health and personal development benefitted greatly from attending Discovery. There were times where the things we did felt a little repetitive but I did see the benefit in revisiting things as well. I appreciated the patience and encouragement to get better. Shout out to all the staff everyone was extremely awesome and I’m gonna miss them all!
Our daughter received the care and treatment she needed to get better at Discovery. She did both the PHP and IOP programs. The administration is professional, but also very kind and helped us at every corner. They responded immediately to any questions or concerns we had. Her therapist was empathetic, highly skilled, and got results. It is obvious just walking in that the team at this facility has the kids’ health and safety as their top priority, they foster a very warm and safe environment. Although my kiddo was sad to leave, she was ready when it was time thanks to treatment she received here.
