Délice Chocolatier & Patisserie is an absolute gem. The pastries are beautifully crafted, the flavors are balanced and authentic, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. The macarons are some of the best I’ve had—light, flavorful, and not overly sweet—and the cakes are both elegant and delicious. You can really tell there’s attention to detail and genuine passion behind the work. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the shop itself has a warm, refined atmosphere. Easily one of the best dessert spots in San Antonio. Highly recommend.
The store hours is 10am - 5pm according to the Google hours and the hours on their door. When I arrive at 4:30 after taking PTO on December 31st, their store is closed early. The sign only addresses New Years Day being closed, nothing about New Years Eve. Myself and 3 other cars at the moment had to leave without purchase. The worst part is that their online order pickup allows for a 4:45pm pickup so there should have been someone in store. No notice and wasted PTO. EDIT: Changing rating. Finally found social media page. Extremely hard to find fron their website. Most webpages would have the social media under a social media tab, contact tab, or in the bottom banners of websites. Delice has their social media in the "What's New?" Tabs which made it harder to find. Cakes are still delicious and a definite must buy.
I absolutely love délice for birthday cakes! The design is always beautiful, and the flavors are even more magical. I tried one of their holiday s’mores today, and it was incredible! Not only was the chocolate the delicious chocolate you can expect from délice, but the marshmallow was a heavenly pillow that was truly a delight. The cookie was crisp and buttery, perfectly rounding out the decadent experience.
Hands down the best chocolate cake I've ever tasted in my life. Ordering and pickup was so fast and easy which made a hectic birthday plan go so much smoother. The staff are always incredibly kind and helpful. Every experience I've had here has been top notch.
We were very disappointed with our daughters $93 red velvet cake. Frosting design had several flaws where the decoration was swiped, smashed and uneven. There were two different icings around the cake making it hard to get any flavor of cream cheese and the one in the middle of the cake tasted of amaretto instead of cream cheese. The cake itself tasted more of almond and amaretto instead of red velvet. None of us liked the cake which is very disappointing.
