Francine was absolutely amazing. She reviewed my intake paperwork thoroughly and understood my areas of need even before we talked, then took the time to ask thoughtful questions and tailor the session to me. I’m hypermobile, and she was incredibly knowledgeable and intentional in her approach. Her lighter touch helped my nervous system truly regulate, and I felt better than I have after many deeper-pressure massages. This experience completely changed my perspective—you don’t need deep pressure to get incredible results. I left feeling relaxed, supported, and genuinely cared for.
My husband and I have been going to Svitlana for almost 9 months and we love her. Semi tempted to gate keep her so she does not get booked out but it is only fair to share our great experience. We are used to getting high pressure/strong massages in Asia and she is one of the very few masseuse (and we have been to PLENTY of massages in the US) we have found that can achieve that level of pressure! She always makes sure to cater her sessions to fit our needs for the day. Donelson itself is also great. Booking is easy and the receptionists are all friendly. The membership program is amazing and we are so glad to have found Svitlana and this location last year.
Donelson Massage is my favorite of all the salons I’ve visited over the years. It is a calm, fresh, and well designed space with welcoming and professional reception staff. Cristaña is the very best therapist I’ve ever had. She is highly skilled, empathetic, and intuitive. Always taking the time to ask about my current needs and concerns, she knows how to achieve the most therapeutic and restorative results. I feel so fortunate.
It's such a miracle when you find a massage therapist on the first shot. I was referred by a coworker and signed up for the membership my first time. I've been fortunate to have a great 5 massages between Taylor and Keri. I had a bad two day kink in my shoulder/chest/neck and for the first time, after years of massage therapy, I walked out with 0 pain (kudos to Taylor). My only feedback would be to see more evening massage options, nothing beats a massage right before bed 😴
I received one of the most disappointing massages I’ve ever had definitely a memorable experience, but for the wrong reasons. I still gave the place 3 stars because the ambiance was beautiful, the facility was very clean, and it had a great vibe upon arrival. I was paired with C.C., who was kind and very friendly. However, I wasn’t able to relax at all during the session. She talked constantly, to the point where I found myself counting down the minutes until it was over. While she was warm and personable, the experience didn’t feel as calm or therapeutic as I had hoped, especially for someone with five years in the industry. I had booked a couple’s massage, and Jasmine, who worked with my boyfriend, barely said two words during the introduction. She didn’t ask any questions or try to understand his preferences or needs, which felt impersonal and dismissive. The only reason I even know her name is because C.C. mentioned it. Oddly, when the massage ended and we left the room, Jasmine was nowhere to be found. You would typically expect your massage therapist to check in, say goodbye, or ask how the experience was but that didn’t happen. Thankfully, C.C. was still around and ensured we got out okay. Again, I appreciated how nice and personable C.C. was, but as far as receiving a massage from her, I personally would not recommend it. It’s unfortunate to feel this way, especially because the space itself was so lovely.
