I must say that I'm rather a snobbish connoisseur of Mexican rice, and Dos de Oros gets full marks! Absolutely delightful all around. Cheerful, rapid service; delicious foods with surprising intensity and complexity; bustling but not crowded atmosphere; wide menu selection! We'll definitely be returning on our way back through town!
I have been outside of the country for a year and this was my first Mexican meal since returning to Kansas City. I will definitely be back soon! I was hooked starting with the chips and salsa. Perfect texture and flavor, nice level of spice, each person gets an individual bowl, and refills came without needing to ask. I ordered the chimichanga and am taking half of it home because the serving size was huge. My husband and son both ordered fajitas and the smell as they arrived at the table was tantalizing. I would have added more pictures, but the food was too delicious to wait. We had several waitresses and everyone was friendly and professional. The atmosphere was pleasant. The music was not too loud, lighting was not too bright but light enough to easily see the menu and the food. Everything was clean. 10/10 recommend you to try this restaurant.
Joined my sister and her friends for dinner at this hidden gem. My food was good and the Tropical margarita was delish. I gave 4 stars on the food because I felt it lacked seasoning, but I would definitely go back.
Pulling in I thought the shopping center looked a little bit sketchy, but when we got inside, it was a really nice place. They told us there would be a 20 minute wait, but it was only five minutes. Service was quick, friendly, and responsive. Midwest fantastic and fast.
This is an excellent restaurant. We had a great lunch with great staff. Very attentive and took good care of us. Wifey had the chicken fajitas, with onions only, I had tacos. Both excellent. Had been by the California fruit stand just at the corner. Great chips and salsa, kept topped off. Highly recommend it.
