What a great spot in Mountain View. My kid always gets an amazing haircut here from any of the barbers. I even got to meet the owner and he is super nice and cares a lot about serving the community and focusing on inclusivity. Highly recommend
Don’t be fooled by the downtown kids hair cut label - this is just a regular barber. I was lured in by its misleading name and price but overall experience was mediocre. First of all it is down a dark alley way and difficult to find. There is a ton of foot traffic from the rear parking lot and adjacent restaurant. No real waiting area except some lounge chairs in the hallway and today there wasn’t even enough seats for everyone waiting. I checked in early asking if I could be seen earlier as I had a cranky toddler. The lady stylist told me to just “wait a few min” but ended up being 20 min+ wait. My kid was restless and the constant streaming of people walking by and saying excuse me did not help. They ended up moving us to a different stylist and service did not start till 5 min after my original time and I had to bribe my child w w candy to keep him from running out. Check in was very cluttered as there was multiple people trying to check in and being confused on who to talk to. Bathroom had no toilet paper and was gross. Payment machine was clunky and slow. Just an unpleasant experience overall with too many people in a small space. I will be returning to Cubby Cuts even though it is double the price. At least they are not dishonest about the type of salon and is a true kids salon. This is just a regular barbershop and will prob work for most people, just not young kids. Also most of the reviews here is for a massage place not the hair salon.
Great barber shop. After my son had numerous terrible haircuts at other places, we found Bri at Dandies. She is amazing! The shop is always clean and provides complimentary drinks for customers.
Maria was amazing!!! We went in today for my 11-month old son’s first ever haircut and right off the bad, Maria’s energy was the best. Her excitement when we told her we wanted some sort of mullet for our baby set up the experience for my little family and I. She was skilled and patient, we could not have asked for a better stylist! We will definitely be coming back to Maria! Gracias!!!
We thoroughly enjoy visiting this establishment. They consistently provide punctual service. Furthermore, they dedicate ample time to our son's haircut. We also appreciate their patience with him. I would certainly recommend it to other parents.
