Today four of us went in for some a first time spa experience. Great location for the experience. Ava my operator gave me a hot stone message just the right amount of pressure. I've been to multiple spa locations all over the US . She is by far the best. My foot therapy by Sandra was an out of this world experience. Two of us had these same operators an we agreed they were both excellent Sandra and Ava !!! I'm thankful that we were taken here today by our friend it will not be the last visit. Fresh fruit and abeyance.
I really enjoyed my spa day there. The spa is clean, quiet, and peaceful. All of the amenities worked properly and the space was not overcrowded. Plenty of room in the dry sauna, steam room, wet sauna, and lounge area. My massage was relaxing with the right amount of pressure. I went early at 10am and enjoyed the amenities until about 3pm. More people started to come after 12pm. I will definitely be back and I recommend for a self care, relaxing spa day.
I just spoke with Shannon, the hotel manager to express our concerns that the water in the men’s Jacuzzi is highly over treated with chemicals. We had 2 massages yesterday at 3 PM and was notified by the male concierge attendant that the water in the Jacuzzi was causing us to cough and burn our eyes. The chemicals were so strong. We then were escorted to our massages which were great. We both have skin irritation and chemical burns on our private areas and our body hair has been stripped of all natural oils and fried. Shannon was not helpful or empathetic providing less than helpful customer service. I was trying to bring this to their attention as to prevent any other customers from experiencing a chemical burn from over treated water in their Jacuzzi. This was all handled very poorly, and their customer service and interactions with guests should be improved. What is most telling, is that nobody from the Spa even contacted us to see if we were ok or to follow up.
I visited d.tour spa in Detroit yesterday with my cousin, and let me just say—it was an unforgettable experience. We booked massages and took advantage of the incredible amenities, and it honestly felt like we were in heaven. The relaxation was top-tier, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the entire ambience exuded luxury. From start to finish, it was peaceful, pampering, and exactly what we needed. We’re already planning to come back next month for another round of self-care at d.tour! ★★★★★
Very nice quiet atmosphere. . I went on a Thursday. I had a very peaceful birthday. Jade was awesome. Very professional. Steam/ sauna/whirlpool baths showers were all clean and sanitized often. The rooms are very spacious Two lounge areas Women and men are separate. So you don’t need to worry about being fully clothed. Which I enjoyed.
