The best place to get horror and fantasy books. I love their curated selections. Every time I visit I always end up buying something because of the great options. They don’t focus on volume of selections but instead showcase their great taste in books! Love that they also encourage community involvement through D&D and book clubs!
This place is an incredible addition to our city! Walking into this book store feels like stepping into the first pages of your favorite book come to life. Amazing owners bring the community together through book clubs, weekly D&D, author events, and even miniature painting. Geeks do exist in Jersey City and Dungeon Books gives us plenty of reasons to meet up!
Super fun shop. Great, friendly vibes with a carefully curated selection of fantasy novels, table-top gaming books, miniature painting supplies and all manner of useful, entertaining odds and ends. They have contemporary fantasy book talks and author signings, DMed DnD games every Sunday and activities for kids as well. Really a tremendous concept for a store and I'm so glad they are here. And yes, I bought the gnome coffeetable book.
Literally my fave bookstore in the entire world. This is owned by an awesome POC couple and they and their staff are amazing and attentive with extensive book knowledge, they also do D&D and other amazing RPG events. There’s a few book clubs and always the book selection is immaculate. I go here all the time and I love being in book club!
I came here during the grand opening, and they had guest David Mattingley doing a signing (book artist for the Animorphs series). It's a really awesome store with variety of unique, niche books from vintage to indie authors and publishers. It's fantastic that they support local artists as well. They also carry table top games and art prints.The staff were really kind and knowledgeable. Totally recommend coming here for a visit!
