⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Durham Vintage Collective Durham Vintage Collective is one of those rare places that makes every event better the moment they’re involved. Their curation is thoughtful, their pieces are beautiful, and their team is genuinely wonderful to work with. Whether I’m sourcing décor, props, or statement moments for a client, I always know I’m getting quality, character, and heart. They’re reliable, kind, and consistently elevate the spaces they touch. Durham is lucky to have them — and I’m grateful every time we get to create something together. Highly recommended from Neon Rainbow Creatives.
Very nice thrift shop. Great atmosphere.
Update to this review; I went in on Sunday, 10/12 and came a few minutes early around opening and the lady with the magenta hair saw me standing outside in the rain and let me in early. She was very pleasant and answered my question. I guess maybe the person I met the other night might have been having an off nite or something. I changed my rating because of this experience. Thank you! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hadn't been to the Durham Collective in a while and I was excited to stop by there this past Friday night while a street concert was going on. I got into the store a few minutes before closing time which is 9 pm. I overheard the store clerk tell others who walked in minutes behind me that the store was closed. I was checking out the records section and was just going to grab one thing when the store clerk came up to me and told me the store was closed, prompting me to leave. I was a little taken aback since I had been in the store prior to closing and thought I would have the courtesy of at least checking out. She seemed nice but I think this was the wrong approach. A simple "How can I help you?" or "Do you need any help checking out?" would have gone a long way. I have been to the store numerous times and all in all, had a very positive experience. I have worked in retail before and my understanding is that if you have a customer that enters into the store prior to closing, they should be allowed to check out when they are through. Anyhow, it left a bad taste in my mouth but doesn't mean I won't come again. Just wanted to know what the store's policy is around this. Thank you.
Such a great vintage store! I love the decor and how items are organized. It feels like a flashback in time!
At long last, Downtown Durham has its own 100% vintage shop and it’s THE BEST! The Durham Vintage Collective has the most amazing vintage—furniture, home decor, clothing, accessories, and curios—and the nicest people own and operate it all! Can’t wait to shop again this weekend.
