The 4 team members were very prompt, polite, hard working, and efficient. They got a 1,500 square foot townhouse, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom with 10 years of accumulated possessions moved in 6 1/2 hours in -30 degree Canadian weather. And our rental unit snaked down a long winding hallway they had to travel every trip! Fantastic job!
Economical Movers Ottawa is awesome! From the time I filled in an online form to request for a quote to the time the move is completed, it's an awesome, efficient, and attention-to-detail service. 1) Booking - it is efficient. I filled in the form during the normal working hour and received a call back within 2 hours. The call was about what kind of items (and the estimated weights) I want to move, the date to move, the deposit required, and the form I need to sign. They sent me both the emails and SMS texts that I appreciate. 2) One day prior to the move. They gave me a call but I unforunately missed it. They then sent me an email asking me to reconfirm. Thanks for the reminder and the reconfirmation. 3) The day during the move. As mentioned by one of the reviewers, I am glad and surprised that the move is on time, actually, it is early in this case, and they called me in advance to see if I am ok to do so. THANK YOU VERY MUCH to Hasan and Iqbal for their service. I don't have any bulky furniture to move but I have many heavy sports equipment and they handled it professionally and with extreme care. They are also very polite and efficient. Of note is that during the move, they also offered help to a driver next to the truck to move the driver's car out of the frozen ice. They are really good men!!
I am very happy with the service I received today from Pawan and Harjinder of Economical Movers. I had to move my (very heavy) washer and dryer and freezer from my basement to the basement of my new house. They set up everything where I wanted them and back on top of the pedestals. The cost was less than I expected to pay and the quality of the service was great. Pawan and Harjinder were friendly and worked very efficiently. I would not hesitate to call them again and I would recommend them to anyone.
