Came to Eden, working with Jade, to complete the last panel of my leg half sleeve. First of two days done, and it looks amazing! Can't wait to finish the piece. Overall, great experience with Eden and Jade. Definitely recommend.
It took me *20 years* to get this tattoo because I wanted to find the right artist with the skill to replicate one of my favorite works of art by John Singer Sargent. I knew Eden was the right place for me because of the otherworldly talent of their team, and I'm so thankful that Eden then recommended Ash. She was the perfect artist for this photo-realistic tattoo. Ash took gentle care to ensure that all of the layers of color, tone, and texture were perfectly represented. The level of detail is breathtaking. Having Ash as my tattoo artist was an absolute delight - I am proud to have her stunning work of art on my arm forever. Thank you, Ash! You made this worth every second of the 20-year wait.
From initially discussing the tattoo to getting it done, everyone was kind and communicative. Monica was a saint for dealing with me. I didn't realize that the concept notes from my booking call missed a few details I wanted (completely my bad for not catching it), until the day of the first session. She was able to work in the idea and was very welcoming. And to add onto that, I didn't take my time to look over the design as much as I should have (AuDHD people pleasing urge is rough). So Monica then had to redo part of the design and stencil on day two. (I'm so sorry.) This was my 4th tattoo and hands down the best experience, 10/10. The professionalism, amount of snacks/drinks, and vibes were off the charts. The camaraderie among the artists was also really cool to see and definitely made it feel more like getting a piece of art, not just a tattoo. I definitely plan on returning!
This tattoo studio is impressive for countless reasons, the main one being that every tattoo artist who works here is a true artist. I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Xavier Ayers after one of his premade Retro Redline designs caught my eye. He is professional, passionate about his work, hilarious, and genuinely cares about the client enjoying their tattoo. We had the option to move this design to the thigh, which would have been the "easiest" place to maximize the image, but X made it a point to work with my originally desired placement, even when I told him it didn't matter. The teamwork and welcoming vibe witnessed in this studio were refreshing. I was also stoked to have the owner of the shop, Deanna, give her input on my tattoo during the process as well. It has been roughly a week since I was tattooed, and I have never had a tattoo heal this well during the beginning stages. I even have a print of X's work hanging in my house now, haha. If this review sounds overly positive and borderline fan behavior, it's because I am a fan and I only have good things to say! Thank y'all so much for the great experience. I will definitely be back.
*Beware, the following statement is made by a tremendously happy client* EDEN BODY ART STUDIOS IS THE BEST TATTOO/PIERCING SHOP OF ALL TIME! My experience at Eden was nothing but professional and pleasant from beginning to end. My artist of choice was Taylor Phelps (complete badass!) and she did a phenomenal job with delivering what I desired. Initially, we were not on the same page about the expected outcome however, Taylor handled this miscommunication with grace and rectified the situation with ease! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to receive an artistic expression that they would be proud of forever.
