My daughter went to a summer scheme at Enact Music and will be starting with the Rock Band classes in the coming weeks. I was amazed by everything she learned during the summer and the passion and expertise of the staff. She had a fabulous time and was buzzing with creativity every day. This is a modern, well structured and thorough course offering excellent on line resources, a comprehensive accompanying guidebook, and highly professional support from tutoring team members and the course Director. The modules are intensive but relevant and rewarding. The outcomes have reinvigorated my teaching skills, helped me embrace and apply new concepts, and feel much more reassured in my teaching. My students have readily embraced our newly enhanced reflexive practices, focus on self-expression, composition and improvisation, and encouragement in becoming self-regulated learners. I started as a adult learner, the lessons were informative and helped me understand the basics through to playing different notes. Lilian was patient and worked around my work commitments. As an adult I was worried to try something new, but the experience was great. Highly recommend giving them a shout if you want to learn a new skill
I came to Enact Music as an Adult beginner piano player. I had been playing for a while and did a couple method books but I felt I needed some hands on teaching to take my playing to the next level. As an adult I was a little apprehensive starting lessons but the level of teaching is absolutely excellent. I went from grade 2 to grade 5 in a very short period of time and my confidence in playing has moved up leaps and bounds. The quality of the pianos in the studio are excellent and a joy to learn on. I can highly recommend Enact if you are looking for lessons!
I have joined the CME course in Enact Music. It really benefited a lot in my teaching skills. It gave fabulous ideas on holistic, imaginative connections to inspire and nurture students' musical learning and interest. I am so thankful that Lilian and her team gave me great guidance and support during the course. Strongly recommend this course to those who want to be better music educators!
