My favorite Mid-Century Modern antique store to visit when in Memphis. From decor, furniture, kitchen decor, records, chasky gifts to vintage clothing. I always find some treasures to buy. Big shout out to Gene for being so warm and welcoming when we entered the shop. Gene was very helpful and friendly along with having a fabulous conversation with him about our friends we had in common.
This is such a cool, unique place. My father and I went yesterday. The atmosphere is 60s-70s-esque and there are so many one-of-a-kind items here. I hate that we just glazed by Flashbacks for so long! It was our first time there. It won't be our last visit!
I absolutely love Flashback Inc! Their selection captures the allure of an ultimate time capsule blended with familiar nostalgia. There is something for everyone in the well curated selection of vintage, mid-century, and Art Deco items as well as MUCH more. Legitimately one of (if not) the best antique/thrift stores I have ever been in. Highly recommend stopping in for Memphians and tourists alike. I discovered the heating tray I have pictured. That is real glass and real wood in impeccable condition with the heating element making what I find to be a neat design under the glass. Not only did a staff member (forgive me, I did not get any names—although I will in the future because I have already been twice and plan to be a regular) take the time to explain what it was to me when I asked, they also showed me another heating tray in another part of the store that was similar so I could compare. Another staff member also pointed out a different item with a similar purpose. Before checking out, they offered to do a demo with me to ensure that it worked properly. Superior customer service. I will be back…and maybe I will purchase the lamp I have my eye on next time…Go visit Flashback Inc!
Super cool shop with vintage finds. My husband was looking for suit pants for a theater role, and he found a lovely pair. They have a sizable selection of suits/jackets, dresses, shoes, hats, glasses/sunglasses, jewelry, furniture, housewares, and more!
