JT is amazing. I’ve been taking my brother to get cuts with him consistently for almost a year and he always takes his time and does a fantastic job. It’s rare that someone puts so much TLC into a teenager’s hair, but he always does, and is always in a friendly mood.
Khalid aka (KK) is absolutely wonderful! He gave both my boys 16 yrs old and 6yrs old the perfect fades with some designs. So friendly and humble. I highly recommend booking with him at friendly fades!!
I thought with them being rated almost 5 stars & Accepting walk-ins that they’d hold themselves to some type of standard. I was wildly disappointed & left in awe after my “experience”. To start, the first thing I hear is one of the barbers talking about how he is with somebody’s baby momma & how they get down in the bedroom. Which was disgusting to hear & shouldn’t be said in a professional setting, as I’m waiting in the lobby they start using racial terms towards each other & saying hateful things about white people, which mind you I’m a white man myself so it was disturbing to hear nonetheless, along with somebody in the lobby talking about fighting & shooting at people. I waited in the lobby for 1 hour & nobody greeted, acknowledged, or even knew I was there. There’s several other things I’m not saying in fear of this being removed. I’d love to talk to the owner.
All 3 of my sons get their haircut by Lid…Friendly fades is one of the best barbershops I ever went to. The facility is clean , organized and very well put together… I highly recommend any of the barbers there but definitely Lid. He’s great with kids too. 💪🏽
I found myself in a bit of a hairy emergency. I had little hope of finding a place available for a beard trim on a Sunday at 2:00 p.m., but I searched Google Maps anyway. After checking a couple of places, I found this shop, which promised to be open. Just to be sure, I called ahead, and they confirmed they could take me as a walk-in. Sure enough, when I walked in, the shop was empty, and no one was in the chair. The barber, was ready and able to give me a beard trim. The session lasted only 15-20 minutes, but I was satisfied with her work. I also appreciated the decor — an interesting mix of boxing gloves and jazz music playing in the background. The atmosphere was laid-back. The barber wasn't overly chatty, asking just a few subtle questions here and there, which allowed me to relax and enjoy the brief moment of beard repair. I look forward to coming back for another session.
