Feeling sore after each session has been a great feeling to have! I come out of FS8 feeling proud of myself that I worked hard and comfortable with the people! It’s an encouraging environment to be around. If you’re someone who is intimidate by the machine or group settings I would say this should be your first stop to trying something new. The members at FS8 make modifications for you and you don’t feel like everyone is watching you workout. Having that extra motivation from others being there has been amazing and I would definitely say it’s worth everything you get!
I first did Pilates when I was younger and playing soccer, but after a gap, the past 2.5 years I’ve been doing reformer Pilates to complement my jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai training. It has made a huge difference in my core strength— not just the abs, but the deeper stabilising muscles that connect and support the whole body. I can feel the improvements in my martial arts performance, doing things I couldn’t do before. FS8 is a great mix of Pilates and functional workouts. The classes are tough in a good way and I always end up sweating. No meditation or yoga vibes—just straight-up training, which is what I like. I’m usually the only man in the room, and honestly I think more men should do Pilates—my strength, balance, and mobility have improved more with pilates than in any gym session. Fun fact: Pilates was actually created for soldiers. The studio has plenty of reformers, the equipment is simple to use, and classes run all day, so I can always fit a session in. The trainers are awesome and great at helping you improve your technique. Highly recommend FS8.
I've been going to FS8 in Chandler for a few weeks and have fallen back in love with reformer pilates. The classes are tough and the workout is intense. But the environment is fun and I always leave feeling energized and strong! I especially love Stephanie and Nellie but all the instructors are fantastic!
I love FS8 so much!! The location is extremely convenient for me to get to and there is always lots of parking. I love all of the instructors and am always so impressed by the efforts they make to greet every single person that enters their classes! The attention to detail is amazing and makes me feel safe and well taken care of :) I always leave here feeling better physically, mentally and emotionally than I did when I walked in!!
Been waiting for a place that combines a bit of strength training infused with Pilates to open up near me, and FS8 truly answered my prayers. The vibe and staff are the sweetest, and I love how open and inviting the space feels. The screens around the room are a huge help for following along, and the instructors are amazing at correcting your form and hyping you up (my favorite part). Every class leaves me feeling stronger, more confident, and completely obsessed. Highly recommend FS8 to anyone looking for a workout that challenges your body while keeping it fun and uplifting!
