I was initially concerned about the “cost” of a fitness program of this caliber. It was easy to rationalize the minor expense of a typical gym membership or rec center account. But I had never considered hiring a personal trainer. That seemed like something reserved for the wealthy, not a consideration for someone still occasionally concerned with meeting their monthly expenses. If my doctor had not strongly recommended not just a personal trainer, but this specific trainer and program and insisted that I view the cost as a genuine quality of life issue, I seriously doubt that I would’ve considered the expense necessary rather than a luxury I couldn’t afford to enjoy. Several months later, I consider this one of the best decisions I could’ve possibly made, and now gratefully do view it as a major investment in the quality of my life rather than an expense. I have made significant progress, rehabbing a leg with arteriosclerosis and have noticed major improvements with my balance, stamina, strength, and overall health (mental as well as physical). Chris and his team are obviously believers in a healthy lifestyle and in the joy and benefits of working towards one. All of the staff are very professional and courteous. I’ve personally worked with Elizabeth and Martha and would highly recommend either, but don’t think you can go wrong with any of the staff. If you aren’t careful, you might find yourself actually enjoying your “possibly previously dreaded” workouts and realizing the results are genuinely worth the effort and expense.
I have quit on myself more times than I have started. My sister in law recommended Fully Alive to me a month ago. I haven’t quit on myself yet..I’m hopeful that viscous cycle is one of the past. I love the one on one training. Zaneta has been great and makes working out fun even if she makes you do a few extra reps because she forgot how to count. 🤪 Here’s to month 2 of working out and reaching goals.
I have been with Fully Alive for a year and have had the best experience! Since I was completely new to strength training, I was looking for a gym where I could learn proper form, gain confidence, and get stronger! I found all of this and so much more at Fully Alive. Kimberly is so thoughtful about the workouts she puts together for me, and she explains all the moves very clearly. She pushes me just the right amount, and really cares about my wellbeing and growth. I am so happy with the progress I have made over the past year - I am stronger than I have ever been and very proud of myself for sticking to it! Chris and all the trainers at Fully Alive are very welcoming, friendly, cheerful, and professional. They create an atmosphere to set you up for success. I feel comfortable, confident, and at home at Fully Alive!
It is no understatement when I say Fully Alive allowed me to unlock my full potential. My trainer Martha is the sweetest, most positive person I know, who will support you no matter what but is not afraid to push you! The owner Chris creates a fun, kind environment for people of all ages! Fully Alive made me realize I enjoy working out and if you are looking for a place to train, meet new people, gain friends and have fun, all while getting some wonderful exercise, then it is the place for you!
Fully Alive is such a great gym with a welcoming, friendly, and supportive environment. The staff truly set this gym apart. I came in with existing injuries and the trainers were amazing at developing a personalized plan that helped me improve my strength without exasperating those injuries. This has been a game changer for my fitness journey! From the June challenge to the Million Pound Challenge, their tailored approach and motivating atmosphere helped me achieve fitness goals I never thought possible!! The facilities are top notch and there is a genuine sense of community that makes Fully Alive stand out!!
