We had our reception at FUZE after our LGBTQIA+ Wedding at the SJ Rosegarden. We initiated contact with Jenny after posting to a forum site looking for vendors who would work with us with our very tight budget as we were planning for ourselves. We were permitted to use outside vendors for food because of my partners severe nut allergy we had to ask for special handling and in most venues it is required to use their food with no guarantee of this. This is also a woman owned/run business, which was important to us. On the night of we arrived and Jenny was doing Bar service for our guests until he bartender arrived and she continued to bring us drinks to keep our merriment going. The Patio was softly lit, Jenny helps us put out paper lanterns and grab bags for our guests, and she gave us chips to hand out for the two rounds of drinks we were providing. She coordinated with our caterer for delivery and pick up. She even placed a security guard after a patron outside our party crashed out dancing line - every wedding has a crasher right? Our guests had ample seating and appeared to relax, and we danced to the DJ she booked for us, he contacted us for our music preferences and took playlists we made and created a hell of a dance party! We left feeling lighter than air and our guests all had so much fun, they even cried best wedding ever!
The atmosphere is nice and the DJ do play some very good music but be cautious about leaving your credit card with the bar. They are bombarded with drinks and have no idea who’s who. I got charged for 9 beers even though i only had 5 and the bartender says there’s nothing he can do. I won’t be coming back here,which is sad because i was planning to too. But oh well.
Review is for LadyGomitas via doordash The food was absolutely delicious oh wow. I ordered some quesitacos, a birria burrito and consomme and loved every bit of it. Kind of pricey (4.50 per taco, 13 for the burrito) but worth it for the quality in my opinion.
It was a first time coming here with the family. We had a horrible time and the alcohol was expired from a year ago, we informed the manager who said that they would swap them out with new ones, yet the beers were expired again. The food was amazing but the manager in charge was not nice at all. Manager blamed the distributor and said they delivered today. Just be careful coming here, check your drinks, or they’ll take advantage if you don’t call them on it. See picture below of the expired beers we were served.
Ich liebe das Fuz-Interieur! Es ist eine echt coole Location, die gut darin ist, drinnen eine sehr einladende Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Ich liebe all die Winkel, die sie in der Innenarchitektur verwendet haben. Die schlechte Nachricht ist, dass es verdammt laut sein kann, was Gespräche manchmal erschwert. Aber definitiv gutes Essen und gute Getränke. Ich liebe ihre Flügel, und das Personal ist in der Regel freundlich.
