Review from 4/7/2023: I trusted Melanie Amos to cut my hair back in April, and she did not deliver what was promised. I showed Melanie an old picture of MYSELF, not someone from Pinterest or Google, MYSELF. It has been a month since I emailed Gabrielle's regarding a refund and radio silence. I NEVER received a response - my email was completely ignored - which seems to be a pattern with Gabrielle's customer service. The picture I showed Melanie was a picture of me with shoulder length hair. I went into the salon with 95% dry hair because every knowledgeable hair stylist knows you can't cut curly hair wet, but Melanie decided to wet it before cutting it. I was hesitant, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt because I had gotten my hair cut by multiple stylists at this salon over the past six and a half years. When she was done, my hair was the length I requested, so I paid (and tipped) and left. When I got home and my hair had dried, that is when I noticed that she had cut so much hair off that my hair was CHIN length. She had cut my hair into a French bob. In my experience, I usually give my curls about a week to settle after a hair cut. Even after a week, my curls had in fact not settled and I am stuck with a haircut that I HATE. I NEVER expected that I would have an experience with this salon since I had been a customer since 2016. I have recommended this place to another person who has also been a paying customer at Gabrielle's. I put a lot of trust and faith in Gabrielle's and Melanie Amos and was let down 100%. It's been a month, and I still have not heard back and still HATE my haircut. If you are looking for a salon with knowledgeable and professional stylists and employees, I would keep searching and steer clear from Gabrielle's.

Broke my heart to post this bad review for Gabriel’s! But when Sandra the receptionist cared more about the outcome of my hair style than Melanie the stylist did, then there was a problem! True, Melanie was rushed with a lady waiting, and yes I did mention I was going to play golf so would be putting a baseball cap on, but that is no excuse for the poor quality, and bad workmanship of the extensions I received. Trust me they are not cheap! As I was getting ready to pay my bill, Sandra the receptionist refused to let me leave, and insisted I wait for Melanie to do “something “ as Leolanda the owner always insists her customers look polished when they leave her salon. Unfortunately, no looking polished this day for me. Melanie is now doing a relaxer and can’t get back to me for 10 minutes. The FABULOUS and caring Sandra wants to help anyway she can, and I am sitting there feeling very uncomfortable! Melanie, my stylist for the last several years NEVER addressed me once directly about my situation!!! It’s not like I am a new customer. Even an “I will be with you in a minute” would have been something. But she never looked or said anything to me directly. Just shows how she regards me as one of her customer base. God Bless Sandra! She is a true credit and an asset to this salon. I let her add a few curls, hugged her tight, thanked her and left there very sad. The bad hair style could have been fixed, but Melanie’s poor conduct was an eye opener and classless in my opinion. Still, I have class… I still left her a tip; smaller than usual, but still a tip. Thank you Sandra, I hope Leyolanda treasures you as an employee. Thank you!

If you're looking for a place to get your hair done, this is it! Gabrielle’s is a multicultural salon that can meet all of your hair needs from extensions, natural hairstyles, and hair loss treatment. I would highly recommend a consultation with your stylist before your appointment. It’s the perfect opportunity to discuss your needs, and hair extension options, and hair choices (especially if you want to provide your own hair). Gabrielle’s is an amazing place with a great team!

Martini destroyed my hair and my scalp. I have had extensions for 10+ years and not once has this happened. I went in to get my extensions pulled up, and when my hair was getting washed, i felt Martini struggle. She left me in the bowl then put my hair in a towel as I went back to her station. She had done my hair install with that same extension brand before and was aware of the length, yet she allowed my hair to get MATTED LIKE A DOG. I felt her pulling at my hair and began to get nervous, i started to feel HUGE MATTES. I told her i was getting anxiety and she said she had another client and I’ll have to wait. Knowing how matted hair gets from bad to worse, i began to panic more. She then told me i’d have to GO HOME LIKE THAT and come back tomorrow to have it fixed. I was in complete shock and began to cry in the the middle of the salon out of fear my hair was about to get completely cut off. Thankfully the manager and Melanie (who were very kind and saved me from having to get my real hair completely chopped off) removed the extensions. I suffered significant hair loss and my damage to my scalp. My hair was part of me, and I honestly have been depressed and crying non-stop since. Do not trust Martini with your hair, please take my warning.

Es hat eine Weile gedauert, bis ich einen Ort gefunden habe, den ich wirklich liebe. Einen Ort, der meinen Geschmack versteht und mir den Look liefert, auf den ich stolz bin. Nachdem ich Gabrielle verlassen habe, bekomme ich so viele Komplimente. Ich habe meine Stammfriseurin, die mir nicht nur hilft, stylische Frisuren zu kreieren, sondern mit der man auch gut plaudern kann. Wenn ich dort bin, sorgen sie dafür, dass ich mich wohlfühle, mit einer schönen Tasse Grüntee und toller Musik! Außerdem ist Bonnie, die Coloristin, mit diesen Pinseln eine Zauberin. Meine Highlights sitzen immer perfekt! Schließlich würde ich sagen, ich liebe diesen Ort, weil sie wirklich Naturhaar behandeln können, statt es einfach in Zöpfe zu flechten. Ich bekomme das komplette Spektrum – von Shampoo und Glätten bis hin zu Sew-ins.
