Gama Filho is an outstanding jiu-jitsu gym. I started here as a white belt and immediately felt welcomed by both the coaches and the team. Over time, everyone there truly became like a second family. The environment is safe, supportive, and respectful, while still maintaining an extremely high level of training. It’s a great place to grow, learn, and develop real jiu-jitsu from the ground up.

I’ve been training at this academy for over two years, and I can honestly say it’s the best jiu jitsu academy. From the very beginning, it has truly felt like home. The environment is welcoming, respectful, and supportive. As a woman, I have always felt safe, comfortable, and encouraged to grow on and off the mats. The instructors genuinely care about your progress and make everyone feel included. My 6 year old daughter takes classes with Coach Max and absolutely loves it, he is amazing with the kids! I have been blessed to be able to train at gama filho I’ve been training for 4 years now and will never forget the first day I walked in. I started here day 1 to purple currently and I can tell you this place has changed my life in so many ways, its more than a jui jitsu school it is my home, the techniques are world class, the environment is a family, and professor Henrique is God sent. Clear instructions perfect English, Max who works in the gym as well is amazing with the kids, also a great teacher and makes you feel so welcome. There is no other gym in Miami with this vibe and I encourage you all to come and train and learn from the best. Cafecito club MWF at 10 am 🔥. Thank you Henrique thank you Max OSS.
