Attended the tropical glass terrarium workshop with my sister for my birthday. The workshop was 79.99 and was supposed to be an hour long starting at 1pm. The instructor arrived at 1:05 and did not even say hello until we tried talking with her. The whole workshop seemed rushed and she was not friendly at all. We were done by 1:35pn. The end product was nice, but the experience was not. I doubt that I will ever attend another event at this location. The service was a 1 star but my creation was nice so I gave 3 stars.
Did a wreath workshop here, had a great time! Staff are friendly and provide all the necessary materials and instructions for you to have a great time workshopping and learning how to do things garden related. Be sure to check out some of their other workshops on Eventbrite! They sell out fast, so be wary.
I absolutely love this shop. The staff became friend's to both my Zinnia (dog) and I . True customer service can be found here. I come in 1 or 2 times a week. Always with something awesome. I bought a number of large special fig plants this year. The orchids draw me in. Yes the shop is a bit expensive but worth it
I’m in love. Ever since I moved to Vancouver I’ve been searching for a garden centre or nursery that would replace my old stomping grounds in Mexico City. For anyone that’s been there and is familiar with Viveros de Coyoacán or Xochimilco, you know what I’m talking about: havens with a wealth of very diverse and exotic (and more normal or local) plants big and small! Anyway, I found it, and it’s this specific GardenWorks. Not only does it have a lot of diversity with exotic plants coming in regularly, but it’s also huge, beautiful, has an amazing staff, and so many options for plant care, gardening, planting, etc. The plant stock is also pretty high quality. Pretty much a plant lover’s haven if you don’t want to drive far out of the metro area to the ones in Langley or near Abbotsford. I’ve been going regularly now and I suspect that will continue for a long time to come! Definitely go if you haven’t already! It’s worth it even just to enjoy walking through and seeing all the plants!
Wow, this store is absolutely endless in the best way possible! There’s so much to see, I couldn't take enough photos to capture it all. The variety of plants and garden items is amazing, and what really stood out to me were the informative signs. For instance the sign they had for plants that attract butterflies. These little touches are so unique and helpful for anyone looking to create a garden for their own specific needs. I Highly recommend visiting, there's truly something for everyone here!
