Local Human Independent Florist! This is my go-to florist. George Thomas Florist is responsive, and as far as I know, is locally owned and operated. I sure do appreciate communicating with an actual human. I had to switch the date of the delivery since the funeral was rescheduled, and George Thomas Florist was on top of it, very attentive and followed up with emails to document the change. Highly recommend George Thomas Florist.
I reached out to George Thomas 4 weeks before my wedding to get 4 arrangements for my Hindu wedding ceremony (and re-used them the next day for our western ceremony). When you’re a bride, you want people surrounding you who respect your vision and can run creatively with your ideas and make suggestions. And when it comes to florals, Kwyn from GTF is that person. She spent 1 hour with me in a consultation, understood exactly what I was saying and designed the arrangement right there with me. It was honestly impressive. The pricing was incredibly fair. And the results? Absolutely delightful. They made me so happy, I wish they had the bandwidth to do my entire wedding florals but that’s on me for not locking them down earlier. I also had 5 floral hair arrangements made, all I said was vintage and red roses - they turned out perfect. Highly recommend for all brides!
i just had the most beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered by Sam Thomas! He was so kind and friendly. We are new to town so always looking for businesses to support! They have earned that!
My family has been a customer of George Thomas for years. We even trusted them to make arrangements for our daughter's funeral last year. So ordering a bouquet from them for a family member in the hospital was a no brainer for us. They have never left us disappointed! When we went to pick up the order, we were in a hurry and trying to get to the hospital. When we arrived to the hospital room and saw the arrangement we found ourselves disappointed to find that the bouquet looked nothing like what we had ordered. My sister contacted them today to ask for them to make it right and at first it seemed like they were going to remake the flowers correctly. This was until the manager got involved and said that no one has ever complained about their flowers before when picking them up in person (I find this incredibly hard to believe) and refused to remake them. They offered a discount on our next arrangement and I believe that would have sufficed had they not already offered to remake the flowers until the manager said "no" and then went on to be defensive and not sympathetic. The main reason for this post is to highlight the poor response to our complaint and not necessarily the quality of the arrangement. Mistakes happen and we understand that. Their response was to blame us, be defensive, and to say they would no longer make us a new arrangement. Update: Per their response below, they are making a new arrangement and and delivering it later today. We are grateful for their willingness to remake the arrangement. Your response is appreciated!
I cannot say enough great things about George Thomas Florist. Working with Mel was amazing, she was so kind, open to any ideas I had and made my vision come to life, BEAUTIFULLY! She was the only florist willing to make one of my ideas work and they made our room flip flawless. I can’t stop telling people about how beautiful our flowers were and how reasonably priced they were too! We would use them over and over again!!
