I'd heard a lot about Glenwood Antique Mall from friends and was excited to see for myself. It was everything they said it was ... and more. The store was clean, the aisles were easy to walk, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked if I could take photos of certain things to see if they would work with my decor (some malls frown on that), but they were fine with it. I made it about halfway through but couldn't stay as long as I wanted because they were closing early (weather reasons, which were totally understandable). The sign on the door said this, so it was no surprise. I can't wait to go back -- I already have a list of things I'll be buying when I return!
I really like the antique store and the wide variety of options to choose from, my only complaint is the customer service is not all that good. Both times that I have been to this store, the employee at the front desk was not very kind. I said hi the first time I came in and just got a weird look which I thought to be very rude. The second time coming in was today, I did not realize the store was closing at 4:30 (due to it not being posted anywhere other than the store door, nowhere present online) and got a very rude response by the employee walking out of the doors. I really love this store and just wish the customer service was a bit better! I will continue to shop here for the local shops inside!
I visited Glenwood Antique Mall with my mom and we had such a great time. There were so many wonderful finds, especially the jewelry and candles. Some items are on the higher end, but the quality makes it worth it. I found a beautiful crock that I couldn’t pass up, and it looks perfect in my home. A staff member kindly carried it to the front for me, which was a huge relief since it was pretty heavy. There was also an incredible selection of CorningWare and nostalgic pieces that brought back memories for my mom from her childhood. The entire place was beautiful, and I truly enjoyed every minute. I’ll definitely be back. I got to meet the owner, she was very nice!
The scent of the past is there, and past events are embodied there and felt. A wonderful experience that I will repeat.
We stopped here last time, so we knew it was a good mall. A couple of complaints like come in earlier get that air conditioning going as it was warm big time. Next, they don't call vendors unless it's over 200.00, which I find really bad business for their vendors. Customers & vendors both lose out, as a vendor I would hate this policy. We ended up with several treasures. Definitely worth the stop if you're in town. Most of the staff were helpful, need a little training on wrapping items for customers. The staff was warm and welcoming when we walked into the store. The only disappointment was no mall walkers, so you have to stop and go up to the desk to drop off treasures.
