I just recently joined glo to get some color before a vacation. The facilities are clean and well kept and they have a good variety of tanning and wellness services. But they really need to get their processes in order. Twice in 2 weeks I have been there when they were supposed to be open and nobody was there. The phone number on the door and one of the ones posted online are both disconnected so it took some digging to find an actual number to call. The people that work there are all nice but don’t all seem to give the same advice on what you should and shouldn’t do for your skin type.
Only giving 2 stars because the staff was amazing! Got my daughter a spray tan for homecoming and it looks terrible two days later. She didn’t shower for 24 hours and we actually did the wet sauna before as it was recommended. The spa is beautiful but I will be canceling the membership tomorrow as the tan isn’t what it should be. I will also say the selling on the products is a little much, 40% off and still close to $200. That’s insane.
I totally should not be doing this. I almost did not because I’m afraid it’ll get too busy and I won’t be able to get in. This is the very best spa experience. I’ve had. The associates there are just so friendly and helpful. They have got patience of anyone on this planet to deal with me trying to figure out all my products and how to use them!! I highly recommend the spa. By the way, the thought of a spray tan terrified me, but after they were so sweet in convincing me I wouldn’t come out an orange Smurf. (Spray tans have come a LONG WAY in the last let’s say 5-10 years). It doesn’t even come off on your clothing!!! 🫨😳😳🫨 Guess what?? I LOVE IT!!! I won’t be embarrassed going to Sunday School!! Whew!! 🏅🏅🏅
Okay, this place is the best kept secret in all of DFW. I have literally paid more for ONE spray tan than they charge me for unlimited sprays for a MONTH. Not only that but there’s a sauna and red light therapy all included! I literally thought it was too good to be true. And on top of alllll of that, the people are always very friendly and helpful. I’d give 6 stars if they’d let me!
Beautiful salon and sweet staff but very very pushy on the products and upgrades. The products with a one time discount are still close to $100. They make you feel like there’s no other option. I was really excited to become a regular too. :(
