Single lady here. This place is fantastic. I had dry rot on my 4 winter tires and needed new to me tires asap. The staff were so fantastic. I was very impressed that when I had a mechanical issue with my vehicle I called and asked if they did repairs as well. They fixed me right up and helped me get parts at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend Good to Go Tire for tires and mechanical repairs. You will not be disappointed.
Haley the front receptionist is the biggest sweetheart .I had a tire pop and called everywhere looking for a replacement and they all quoted me 400 if not more , she had the same tire in stock and got me in instantly , explained everything and assisted me politely by listening and working with budget . I was quoted for everything with windshield wipers under 200 and she was super quick and intelligent . I wouldn't go anywhere else but here . Thank you for the excellent customer service , quick service and being incredibly polite ! . The mechanic was Also super polite , wasn't pushing other services onto me like most mechanics and only focused on what I came for and addresseed those needs. There was no hidden costs , no upcharges and last minute things . Marcus was the mechanic and he was the only one inside along with the receptionist and they still did amazing being alone on a Saturday.
I called yesterday to book an appointment to buy 2, maybe 4 winter tires and have them installed. Happily, I was able to get an appointment for the next day, which is today. I arrived for my appointment and was greeted immediately and only a few minutes to bring my car in. Upon inspection, I was told all 4 of my tires were ok for another season! Amazing! I appreciate the honesty, and peace of mind knowing my tires are still good to go. That money saved can now go towards Christmas for my kids. I was stressed about the tires… While waiting for my tires to be put on, the staff conversed with us, their customers in the waiting area. It was a very friendly welcoming environment. I’m glad I chose to come here. Great experience from start to finish. You’ve gained a new customer and thanks again for the keychain flashlight!
I've come here many times in the past for my car. This time I went in for my sisters car that had a nail in the tire. Hailey and the team were honest that a new tire was needed as the nail was too close to the side wall (instead of just trying to patch it up and sending me on my way). Appreciate them so much! Highly recommend you to go to Good To Go Tire (and always will!).
BUYER BEWARE ❌❌❌ In May 2025, I purchased a set of four used tires and was told 70-80% life left. A few months later I find out the tires they sold me are 9 years old when manufacturers recommend not using after 10 years! On-top of this, the dates on the tires were turned to the inside so it could not be easily seen. SHADY! Although there was lots of tread life, the age of the tire only gave me 1 year!! After calling and speaking to Hailey, their motto is "we sell used tires less than 10 years old". A customer doesn't expect a tire to be 9 years old! And if so, the customer should be made aware and can decide whether this suits their needs or not. I feel incredibly ripped off and cheated! The owner was not willing to compensate me, I asked for 25% back ($100) which is a totally reasonable request given the product I purchased was short changed!! Obviously they do not care about customer service. I suggest you take your business elsewhere to the many other options in Hamilton. I have never had such a poor experience at any other auto shop, and especially as a female you just want somewhere you can trust and won't be taken advantage of. I hope anyone who reads this review will ask about the age of tire and confirm with your own eyes the date on the tire. In my picture "0217" means the second week of 2017 and you can see the tire date is facing inside and not on the outside rim. I will never come back here and suggest you don't either. Edit: reply to owner - Obviously you did take the time to hide the dates as shown in my picture lol I purchased these tires 4 months ago, not last year. The only way anyone could've seen the dates was if the tire was taken off which people don't do often so this is why I came back to you a couple months later. Selling my car had nothing to do with it - the buyer was kind enough to let me know about the tires because he obviously knew I was SCAMMED.
