Professor Jimmie and Professor Helen are both professionals. Very clean mats, and clean facilities. Love going to this gym, the schedule is great for people who have full time jobs. Also if you have kids it's the best structured training you'll get for kids.
Phenomenal school with extremely talented, knowledgeable, and well rounded professors and coaches. My two sons (ages 6 & 10) and I train here and have been treated like family by everyone from the moment that we walked through the door. Jiu Jitsu has changed my life for the better, given me something to share with my children for the rest of our lives, and truly is for everyone of all ages and ability.
Gracie Barre-Huntsville is a special gym. Today was my first visit. It’s second to none. Professor Jimmie & Helen emphasize the importance of technique to advance your jiu jitsu journey. Instruction is very thorough. Environment is super friendly and full of solid training partners. Mats are exceptionally clean. I’ll make every effort to join them again next time I visit Huntsville. Exceptional School! I had been looking for a Gracie Barra to open in Huntsville for several years. I wanted to recommend a good martial arts program for my grand children. I'm so glad they opened. My two grandchildren have been here for about 8 months and results are fantastic. The owners/instructors are extraordinary. Skilled. Patient. Kind. Instructors Helen and Jimmie provide excellent coaching while leading the fun and engaging classes. The class schedule is substantial and flexible enough to allow me to attend multiple trainings each week, even with my busy work/family life. The facility is very clean, the training mats are always spotless. The classes are approachable even for complete beginners, and there is a friendly, welcoming, and positive gym culture.
