Back in town for JeepFest & our hotel's breakfast wasn't all that so when I mentioned to bestie that I would be hunting down a pastry while her and my godson were on their first beach cruise Saturday morning she asked me to wait so they could join me. I already knew this was my destination as I had been following them since they opened in VB. Upon our arrival we found the Cafe about a 1/4th of the way full so I had hopes for breakfast in a quiet setting. Even though there was a steady flow of traffic, we were able to dine in a relaxed setting without feeling rushed. I mention this because with it being a holiday weekend full of Jeepers, I fully expected them to be packed. The wait to order was too long as it left me staring at the pastry window so long I almost ordered one of everything however; I refrained from doing so but still bought 4 pastries, French toast & seasoned potatoes. Yes yes, alot of food for 1 person but I still had 2 days left in my visit and well, I have a thing for pastries. The pastries were: mango & passion fruit eclair, a pineapple muffin, lemon raspberry cake & profiteroles. I loved everything with the exception of the eclair. It wasn't anything against the eclair, it's just the mango/passionfruit mixture was just too passionate for my tastes. The muffin reminded me of my own homemade upside pineapple cake without all the brown sugar. It was light and buttery. The Lemon raspberry slice was delightful & not the least bit tart or too sweet. A mixture of both flavors without either one overpowering the other. The cake was super moist, perfect. The profiteroles were my favorite. They reminded me of that feeling I had the 1st time I tasted them while living in Italy. The choux perfectly baked and so delightfully light. The French toast was good enough without the side of syrup. The star for me of the breakfast items were the potatoes. I LOVED them. They were served HOT, seasoned just right with their insides softer that a baby bottom. I coulda just ordered 2 servings of those & bypassed the toast. All in all, well worth the wait. The folks were friendly, the Cafe clean and the seating plentiful and comfortable. I would recommend this place for both pastries & French toast & spuds
I would recommend this place to everyone. It specializes in European pastries. All of the food was fresh and delicious. Right down to their mixed greens and side potatoes which had amazing flavors. The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with first time customers.
This place was amazing! If I lived nearby I would spend so much money here trying every single thing on the menu. The pastries look beautiful and they probably all taste amazing (we tried the coconut donut, the apple tart, and chocolate crossiant - all delicious) and the breakfast food was awesome (I had the soft egg with goat cheese and ham on croissant, with a great side of breakfast potatoes). Coffee was spot on and their super juice was fresh and well balanced (eg between the sweetness of the orange and the zing of ginger). Really friendly service, interior was clean, welcoming, and prettily decorated. We are really looking forward to coming back the next time we're in town on vacation!
Amazing place to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, iced coffee or a matcha latte!! Husband’s fav choc nutella croissant and iced coffee! There is a patio option to enjoy that iced matcha accompanied by my furry babies! Hopefully in the future they can offer dog menu options 🫠🫠🫠
Went for Mother’s Day, it was busy but the line moved quickly. Wife said it was the best chocolate croissant she had ever had (and we’ve been to bakeries in France!), and the smoked salmon salad I had was fresh, plentiful, and delicious! We’ll be back!
