It’s a great spot to go with friends or family because cooking at the table makes the experience fun and interactive. Just a heads up it gets really hot around the grill. Most of the food we ordered was really good. The things I didn’t love were the fried chicken bites (the texture felt strange and the inside looked a bit purple) and the ramen the broth just wasn’t for me. But that might be personal preference. Besides that, everything else was good, and I still think it’s worth going at least once for the experience. It’s a nice place to try with a group and enjoy the grill style cooking.
It’s a great spot for Japanese style food. The calamari appetizer is amazing. You can find good sake and drinks with hotpot and bbqs. The service was a bit slow with some of the items and bar area unavailable.
If you like a grill meat. This is the right place, the meat marinade so well to deep inside. And the meat is tender. The quality of the taste is so good.
I went with a group of 6 and we ordered the set menu for 6 to make the check easier and also so we didn't have to make as many decisions. The menu is LARGE. They did let us swap the pork and shrimp for chicken and beef to accommodate dietary restrictions in the group which was nice of them. We were sat in the back dining area, sharing the space with a VERY large party, which was unfortunate because it was incredibly loud as a result. But it was the only open table big enough for our group so they weren't able to move us. Several couples came in to be sat at the remaining table and asked to be relocated and they were, so if they have the space they'll accommodate that sort of request. It was also very warm with all the grills on so wear removable layers. They tell you how long each dish should be cooked on each side when they bring the plate out, which was helpful, but we absolutely had no idea which cut of beef was which so couldn't tell you which ones I would or wouldn't recommend from the selection we had. The chicken was harder to get to the right doneness versus the beef though so I probably wouldn't get that one in the future. No one seemed to be a fan of the soup either but it was still worth it to get the set menu, next time I might ask if the soup could be exchanged for more salad or edamame instead. Ending the meal with smores was also a fun touch.
We did all you can eat and the service was quick and great. Nice waiters. Atmosphere can be better though as it was really hot inside the restaurant especially the last room where there's actually no AC, so they kindly seated us somewhere else. They should have a better AC system esp with all the grills plus kitchen in the restaurant. Meat qualities were pretty good (marinated ones were bit too sweet for my liking) but we got the boba ice cream mochi dessert, and the texture was really abnormal/dry/crumbly that a mochi should not be. Tbh I'm pretty sure that mochi ice cream was around 5 years old judging by the texture and how the mochi just fell apart after taking a bite. I know it's a meat restaurant so who cares about the dessert but we were really turned off by it at the end of our meal.
