Had a fantastic dining experience at Gyu-Kaku. The food was delicious, high-quality, and fun to prepare right at the table. The meats were flavorful and perfectly cut, and the overall vibe made the night feel relaxed and social. Special shoutout to our waiter, Tesla, who truly made the experience stand out. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful with recommendations and timing, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. His service added a personal touch that made the evening even better. Highly recommend—great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Gyu-Kaku is one of those places that never disappoints. Whether we show up with reservations or without, they always accommodate us and make us feel genuinely welcomed. My wife and I are regulars — we make it a point to visit at least once every four months — and every experience reminds us why we keep coming back. The service is consistently great. The waiters are friendly, patient, and quick, and they always take the time to answer our questions and share helpful recommendations. The turnaround time is efficient, and the whole team makes the experience smooth and enjoyable. The food is always delicious, and grilling our own steaks at the table has become one of our favorite things to do together. We’ve brought family and friends here, and they all agree — it’s a fantastic spot. We live in Hollywood and happily make the drive for a great meal and great service. This will continue to be our favorite Japanese BBQ restaurant. Definitely check them out, whether you’re local or visiting from out of town. They never fail!

This was my second time visiting this location and all I can say is I had an absolutely incredible experience at Gyu-Kaku, the food was outstanding. For the quality you get, the prices are extremely fair, which makes the whole experience even better. But the highlight of the night was my waitress, Sofi Romero— even though I was at the bar she was genuinely the best thing ever. Attentive, kind, and made us feel so welcome the entire time. She truly elevated the experience. Can’t wait to come back to try more things!

Gyu-Kaku Miami is one of those places that instantly feels fun when you walk in the smell of grilled meat, the buzz of conversation, and that little excitement of knowing you’ll be cooking your own food right at the table. The whole setup is really well done, and the food itself is honestly great. The cuts of meat are high quality, the marinades have that perfect balance of flavor, and all the sides from rice to dipping sauces tie everything together. It’s the kind of restaurant that’s perfect for a night out with friends or even a casual date where you want something interactive and different. That said, the service really needs to be more attentive. Our server was friendly, but they kept disappearing for long stretches of time. We waited a while for drinks, had to flag someone down for extra sauces, and even when our grill needed to be adjusted, it took a bit before anyone noticed. Since this is a cook at your own table place, timing matters if you don’t get what you need quickly, the food can overcook or the rhythm of the meal just gets thrown off. It’s not that the staff were rude or anything, just not really on top of things. When the server was around, everything went smoothly, and you could tell they wanted us to have a good experience. It just felt like they were managing too many tables at once or not checking in enough, which made the experience less enjoyable than it could’ve been. Overall, I’d still go back because the food and atmosphere are genuinely great it’s social, tasty, and has that energetic Miami feel. But I really hope management focuses on improving service because with a little more attentiveness from the servers, this place could easily go from good to amazing. Great experience. We loved it. Very professional and friendly service. We ordered the Meat Lover's course. Everything was really tasty. The meat was really tender and delicious. Kids options are available. We were seated but they have different types of seating like at the bar on high chair so also good for solos too. Highly recommend the place. Thank you!
