Amazing experience! I got served by a younger girl named Avery (Averey? Not sure how to spell it…) last night. I was having a difficult time navigating the menu, and she walked me through it all. She was super friendly, patient, and genuinely seemed happy to answer questions about flavors. I loved the mint chocolate chip and I will be back to try more!
Very nice first experience of Handel’s! Had an issue with a flavor on door dash and it was immediately fixed by an employee named Aphomia I believe. Enjoyed my pint of blue monster, will definitely order again!
Came here on a cold evening for some ice cream. Hay, at lease I don't have to worry about making a dripping mess in the car. Also no waiting in line like the summer. Quick and polite service with very good ice cream. Gave them only **** vs ***** because they didn't have chocolate chip ice cream, had to settle for mint chocolate chip. Plus they don't have indoor seating. Had to risk not making a mess in the car.
Updating 3* -> 5* since got an immediate response from the biz owner. Your ice cream is lovely. But! Why don’t you train your employees not to hang out with their friends by the window while your customers are waiting in line. While standing in line, I was waving my hands trying to signal come on guys, keep serving customers, maybe stop chatting and showing each other stuff on your phones?! That girl is NOT a customer, she was happily standing there talking with your employee until I ran out of patience and said something. Guys, can you imagine if something like that happened at In-N-Out or Chick-fil-A?! Please start paying attention to your customers’ feedback and train your staff to actually work faster instead of showing Instagram reels to their friends through the window during work hours.
What a perfect Friday night desert! Stopped by tonight with some family and tried a variety of flavors. Every flavor was great including the rocky road, Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownie, and the Brownie Dough…but the Taro was surprisingly delicious. On top of it all the service was the best! Unsure about some of the flavors our party might have been a little demanding, but our server Mya was patient, smiling, and joyful through it all. She even made sure to ask if we needed additional napkins before we left her window. Thank you Mya for a fantastic experience and expert recommendations!! 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!
