I didn't want to go to on a winery tour all day, so I searched around for cool wine bar and discovered this place. They did renovations so the pictures you see with reviews are different than what it is now as I wasn't sure if I had the right place. I sat at the bar and it was practically empty, but my mission was to have a wine tasting experience and that I did. I did a white wine tasting with cheese and then a charcuterie board as I saw in pictures but it wasn't on the menu. Nice presentation and everything was tasty. It's definitely pricey so beware of that and always check your bill before paying.
Had such a wonderful time at Handpicked Wines Cellar Door. We tried the Pinot Noir flight, each paired perfectly with a different 🧀 The combinations were spot on and brought out the best in every wine. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel amazing! Will definitely be back to try the other flights
Great mid-week wine experience while staying at the Porter House hotel. We had two wine flights with a matching cheese board, plus a couple of sharing plates for dinner. Very enjoyable. Sure, not the cheapest dinner but worth some extra $$$ for something outside the norm. Highly recommended for you and that significant other who loves a great wine!
Went on Saturday 12th April and sayt at the counter nad bought 2 flights with matching cheeses and was blown away by both the quality and quantity of the cheese and the wine. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the venue has a great ambience, would highly recommend
Stumbled on here searching for a wine tasting place in the city. They had a variety of flight selections that should serve everyone, all with cheese pairing available. We had the oysters + wine pairing first followed by a Trial by Fire flight and the Singles flight. All were way beyond our expectations, including the cheese pairing and cold cuts. The table next to us also bought some of the cold cuts in addition to the wine. They are generous with letting you taste the wines you’re interested in ordering, and have a wide range of high quality that should suit your needs. Most importantly the service staff made the whole experience memorable. We received the Thai member that ensured we had a 5 star experience but the others were also very pleasant. Would recommend anyone to come here to have a taste of some of the best Australia has to offer.
