The owner, Sebastian, was rude. While trying to be considerate of members chatting by the back door, I carefully stepped around them and inadvertently touched the MMA mat while wearing sneakers. Instead of addressing it respectfully, he chose to scold me publicly in front of others. Despite my effort to be courteous, I was treated poorly and immediately realized this was not the right gym for me. All of the other staff was amazing, but I expected the owner of all people to set a better example
Friendly , professional and patient with a beginner like myself. Kickboxing class was amazing cardio with great techniques on how to transfer energy into kicks and punches. Highly recommended. Need this in my life . Wish I lived in long beach.
I signed my son up for a free kids boxing class. He sat on the sidelines the whole class and wasn't feeling it but the staff here texted me to re-schedule, multiple times. Very great communication and the class itself was impressive. Every single kid was engaged and having a blast. They must have been wiped out afterwards!
Love it here!!! Amazing staff, great location, and I love how they make you feel like you're a part of a family. I'd never taken any boxing classes before, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to keep up, but the trainers here helped me throughout the classes. My kids are taking classes as well. How many gyms do you know of, that allow you to bring your kids also? If you're thinking about going in... Do it, don't even hesitate!
I think this is an absolute wonderful gym. It really has an old school boxing feel to it. My sons attended the boxing classes and I enjoyed the training they received. Coach Frank and coach Shawn saw that every child got the proper training. There is regular breaks and no child is being pushed over their limits. I enjoyed the professionalism everyone has here. You can’t beat the monthly membership price they have. They sell wraps and gloves. It’s street parking.
