I have had on and off sciatica, low back pain, neck/shoulder pain for the past few years (started in pregnancy but never resolved). This October, I started taking 1:1 classes with Frank since I had never done Pilates or reformer Pilates before. I’m now doing 1-3 classes a week with Frank and the other instructors (they’re all so nice!). I haven’t had any pain since week 3, I even carried my 35 lb toddler for ALL OF Halloween day/night and woke up the next morning completely pain free. It’s been amazing! I feel like now that I’m past the pain I’m able to start running and doing other strength training again. Super convenient location! Stacy, who manages the front office, is also really nice and helpful with scheduling!
I have been taking pilates for about a year, and it has made a huge difference for me in terms of my health and overall wellness. Vanessa is a fantastic instructor and is super knowledgeable. I have learned so much from her in only a year. She is the main reason I have been able to stick with pilates. I always enjoy her classes because she is careful about helping you achieve good form, and she varies the exercises across classes so you have exposure to different movements. I also have taken from Malia, and she is fantastic as well. Those class times don't always work as well for my schedule, but her classes are very popular. Overall I enjoy the convenience of this studio location, and Harmony has made pilates accessible to me as a beginner.
Vanessa is an incredible Pilates instructor! Each class is unique, fun, and perfectly challenging. I love how she brings her dance background and deep expertise into every session—it really elevates the experience. I’ve been taking Pilates on and off since my late 20s, and Vanessa is by far my favorite instructor. Highly recommend!
Frank is absolutely brilliant at knowing how to build up muscle in the right places to overcome injuries, disc pain ,sciatica etc.I am very grateful for his knowledge and experience. He is simply a genius. Harmony Pilates is clean , beautiful and spacious. The office manager, named Stacey is always a bright light, accurate and will clarify any questions. There are also physical therapists that have years of experience. Just remember that you have to wear grippy toe socks before being able to use equipment. You can buy them online or there are some to purchase at the front desk. I don't know if this this is the right place for you but it was an incredible blessing for me
Eliminated pain, increased function, new life into my mid-40s! I was living with chronic debilitating pain for over a year due to a slipped L5S1 disc injury, without meaningful progress after a Medrol pack, 3 different physical therapists, 2 steroid injections, low-dose opioids, daily Gabapentin & NSAIDs, acupuncture, chiropractic adjustment, reflexology, Rolfing, and wishful thinking. The only remaining recommendation was surgery to remove the disc herniation, but my PT and even the surgeon weren't convinced that would eliminate the pain I was experiencing. As a last-ditch effort before surgery I enrolled in intensive twice weekly private training with Frank at Harmony Pilates. I have an aversion to trainers and the idea of a core workout is a terrible nightmare to me. But Frank is supportive, encouraging, knowledgeable, and the results speak for themselves. Upon starting in February 2025 at a rock bottom, I could only sit upright or stand for about 5 minutes before the pain would force me to lay down. After 3 months of training I was able to sit and/or stand pain free for about 10 minutes. After 5 months of training I was able to do the exercises with more ease as my body (and spirit) got stronger. After 8 months and counting I am 90% pain free with only certain positions triggering it. I don't think I'll be 100% without surgery, but I am able to do all activities that I want, feel stronger, more-balanced, and better-prepared for mid-life years thanks to Frank and Harmony Pilates!
