OMG! I have a new passion! Fluid Art is SO. MUCH. FUN!!! My husband and I were looking for a painting class in KC for a Saturday afternoon date. All the usual "paint and sip" options were listed and then I saw Hawaii Fluid Art. We are always up for a new experience, it intrigued us so we booked it. SO GLAD WE DID!!! It's a much more organic experience. You aren't limited to listening to instructions only for an outcome that looks close to the instructors art piece. With Fluid Art, YOU choose your colors to reflect your own personality and with guidance from the artist, your piece comes to life as you pour the paint on the canvas and move it around. That's the best part...it's always a surprise! Anderson, our Artist, was FANTASTIC! He was warm, funny and offered lots of great tips! He made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Please give Hawaii Fluid Art a try! It is an exciting way to create!
My spouse and I THOROUGHLY enjoyed our experience at Hawaii Fluid Art! We’re so tickled with the unique Dutch-style diptych (ask Anderson!) that we created. Anderson was a wonderfully fun host and added some unexpected special touches for my birthday. Love their retail selection of curated goodies too - jewelry, decor, artsy stuff and scentsational items galore. They can even make you a custom hat with fun patches - another unexpected surprise! Hawaii Fluid Art is a jewel of the northland and I’ll probably make the trek again soon when my mom comes to town. She’ll love it!
my granddaughters and daughter booked with Dustin at the Zona Rosa Hawaii Fluid Art studio & had so much fun. Dustin is the best instructor i have ever had. Funny, helpful, and very knowledgeable of this craft. it's so much more fun and rewarding than pottery or paint & sips. you should try it. i'm going to book another session with some friends next month. thank you Dustin.
If you are looking for some artsy fun in Kansas City, make sure to check out Hawaii Fluid Art! Start your experience off by picking out your favorite colors, select your background color, and begin pouring! We had a fantastic time making our masterpieces! We picked 6 colors each and decided to add sprinkles and the glossy cover to the painting. We went to the Zona Rosa location and enjoyed a meal at 54th Street after. This is a great spot to take your family, celebrate a birthday or bachelorette party. Hawaii Fluid Art is also a great idea for a date night/day! My husband and I had a blast. We initially bought the glass photo when we booked but after getting there and seeing the paintings in person we switched and do glad we did. The instructors were so patient and kept it fun. They were very personable. I have been telling everyone about it because it is definitely worth every penny. I cannot wait to get the final product. Will definitely be back with hubby and/or my girlfriends or sister... Regardless I'm going back...lol
