The engineer was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond by offering helpful advice on fitting a washing machine we were having trouble with. We originally contacted Harry for an EICR on a property we were purchasing. From the outset, he was responsive, professional and incredibly helpful. The house ultimately needed a full renovation, including a complete rewire, a knock through, ceiling plastering, new radiators, two bathroom refits, a kitchen install and wood flooring install. Harry and his team have worked incredibly hard, and carried out all of this work to a really high standard. Every single member of the team was polite and professional, and we were really happy to have them working in our house over the last few months. In particular, Colin and Baz were amazing - they worked so hard to install our kitchen and bathrooms to a quality finish, and were so easy to get on with we actually miss having them around now they've gone! Ultimately, HB Electrical made renovating this house a much less stressful process than it could have been. The work was completed exactly as requested, and in a really collaborative way so that any tweaks we wanted to make along the way were taken on board and implemented. Harry has been amazing at organising the various tasks, fitting everything in despite the team's busy schedule, and is so quick to respond and address any questions and concerns. Thanks to HB Electrical, we've got the house feeling like a proper home in time for Christmas, which we really weren't expecting given the timescales. And we'll definitely be using them again for the next phase of the renovation!
HB Electrical did the rewire of our new house. This was the first time we have had to do work to this scale on a property and Harry and his team were amazing throughout. The whole team that worked on the job were friendly and professional and completed the work to a high standard. They were efficient and also great at accommodating our requests. Not only is the house now set up how we wanted, but they did a brilliant job at cleaning up afterwards and the plastering work is excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone to do a rewire and it's great for us to know a good electrician to call if we ever need future work done.
As a first-time buyer, I was pretty daunted by the idea of renovating three rooms in my flat—but Harry and Wayne made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Harry project managed everything from start to finish, which meant I didn’t have to chase down quotes from different tradespeople or juggle timelines. It was all handled in one go, and at a very reasonable price. I wasn’t living locally during the renovation, but they kept me updated regularly and were quick to respond whenever I had questions. Plus, I live on the second floor of an old building, and they were extremely professional and respectful towards my neighbours. One of my neighbours even commented afterward about how nice they were! Overall, a really positive experience. I’ll definitely be reaching out again when it’s time to finish off the rest of the flat!
I used this firm on two occasions this month, to fit four ceiling light fittings, two mains smoke alarms and to replace/upgrade light switches and sockets throughout the whole house. On both occasions the electrician was on time, friendly, professional and respectful (removing shoes without being asked). The work was completed quickly and to a high standard. They cleaned up after themselves, including vacuuming, and took away the unwanted materials. I have already scheduled further work with them and I highly recommend this company.
