Food was very average. The bread and "butter" was very strange. The butter was not creamy and seemed very oily. The other food was okay. Shrimp in salad was tough and Very overcooked. Very dark space, that set a weird mood. Service was decent.
For context, “Too Good To Go” is an app used by stores to sell food at the end of the day that would have been thrown out, in order to reduce food waste. Today after a long day of work I was craving pizza, and good pizza not from a chain store, so I placed an order using this app, which was $4.99, and $5.43 after tax. The pickup window was from 8:00 to 9:00 pm and I came at 8:52. I tell the lady at the counter that I have a TooGoodToGo order, and she tells me, and a lady who came in a few seconds after me, to show her our phones and swipe for TooGoodToGo. Strange, I thought we were supposed to swipe that AS she was giving us our surprise bags. But I did so, and she told me to have a seat while they get it ready. Only in retrospect did I realize she probably made us swipe so we wouldn’t back out after seeing/feeling how little food we would get. As soon as I picked up the bag, I knew something was terribly wrong. The bag was light as a feather, not even half a pound, and I work in a deli weighing meat constantly, so I KNOW. In my head i’m hoping there’s at least TWO slices of pizza and not one.. I open it as I’m a few steps away from the restaurant and see that they gave me seven small pieces of dry, cold garlic bread. I didn’t choose a PIZZA place for garlic bread, and now i wasted a combined 40 mins on the bus, $4 on bus fare, and $5.43 on seven pieces of not even cheese bread, but just a third of a flatbread with some garlic paste smeared on it. The strangest thing? A few minutes after I took a seat, and the bags were ready, I heard the lady at the counter say to the man who just prepared the food, “this is for him?” and the man said yeah, and then the lady gave me the bag. Me and the other woman got the exact same $5 bag, and I know that since i just checked the app and all they’re selling for tomorrow are also $5 bags. So why did he specify that this bag was for me?? If they had no pizza they could have just told me and I would have asked for a refund then. But instead they threw a few pieces of garlic bread into a bag and thinks it’s worth $5.43.. And I also don’t understand why it took five minutes to “prepare” my order, but the bread was still cold so it’s not as if he reheated them or anything. If this is how they treat TooGoodToGo customers then they shouldn’t be using the app at all. Except they wouldn’t do that because then who would they sell seven pieces of their cold garlic bread to for $5!! The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I will never be back here to spend another cent at all and I recommend you do the same.
It just not worth 60 bucks bro for two inedible pizzas..and some of crap wings ten of them ..the wings are baked or somthing they taste and smell like domino's wings ..im pretty dissatisfied pizza is OK..but like paper thin ..very little cheese (margaritas style but still )blue cheese GROSS it was all watery ..my son's pizza was all soggy and tasted like chemical cleaning agent not that I could tell my son explained the taste like an alcohol probably Rotten Tomato Sauce....this place makes me never want to try a new place ever again
We stopped in for dinner before a show at Shea's, they were booked but had space available at the bar. The bartender was wonderful. He was incredibly busy, but we never felt neglected. The food was outstanding, and the pilot grigio was one of the best I've had. We will definitely be back to try the baklava!
Visiting my friend in Buffalo so we went out here for dinner. The smell was unreal, so good - authentic pizza oven! It was a bit strange to wait for our table to be set up prior to sitting and then it took a long while to get some water for the table. Once seated (with a baby stroller so enough space for that), we ordered hummus for an appetizer- very good. The Guinness was pretty good as well. I just got the eggplant and tomato sauce pasta (pictured) which was good, but I think needed a bit more sauce, basil and maybe salt. My friend got a chicken salad which was really good but the best thing was the burrata (not made in-house). Overall, our server was nice, but it took a while to order, get water and get the check. The toilets are very nice and the vibes is nice. Not sure if I would come back again but none of us got the pizza so might be worth it to try that! Not really great for vegans (only pasta or edited salad). But would check it out of a bite.
