Technician Robert Mertz came out to check the heater on January 19th and he was knowledgeable and professional. He did a heat wellness check and no issues were found. My favorite thing about Hiller is the promptness in arrival time. They are always on time to complete the job given. I recommend Hiller, Inc to anyone.
Fantastic Service yet again! Jamar came for an HVAC check up and was on time, diligent and checked every nook and cranny of our HVAC units. He was great with the kids, dogs, cats and chickens! UPDATED: A representative for Hiller contacted me the same day my review was posted. He took time to listen to my concerns and we had a very thorough discussion about my situation. Seth made me feel valued as a customer. He was disappointed in the original handling of my account and he made every effort to right the wrong. Seth is an excellent example in true customer care. His genuine efforts restored my faith in Hiller as a company that truly wants to "get it right." I appreciate their correction of something that didn't represent their customer focused approach. Well-done, Hiller! Although the repair (changing dryer vent from flexible to rigid) seems to be successful, I have concerns with the business management due to a lack of follow-up. We were given an estimate that included 4 hours of labor. At the time, the technician stated he had put 4 hours, but that the job would probably not take that long. Two days later another tech arrived to do the work. Almost immediately he said he had to leave to get parts he didn't have. He returned over an hour later and ended up reusing a vent cover we had. The work took around 2 hours. We asked if the bill would be less due to taking half the time estimated and he said he had to charge the full estimate. We immediately began trying to contact someone about the bill amount and were told a manager would contact us. Four calls and a day and a half later we got a text stating the work had taken the full 4 hours but they would offer a 5% refund ($38 on $769 job). We replied asking them to call to talk about our concerns yet no one did. On Monday we tried again and were told again the manager would call us. The work was done a week ago but we cannot get a manger to speak about the issue. Perhaps this review will help others to be wary of doing business with a company whose management ignores customer concerns.
Great HVAC company. They came out in March to look at a leaking tankless water heater. The guy fixed it for free. So I asked them to look at my HVAC and as a result I had them to install and new up and down stairs unit. They gave me a lifetime warranty on the Amana that I purchased. Buy From Hiller.
