I had a wonderful study experience at HOFT. Here, I was able to make many new friends from around the world and learn about their unique cultures. The teachers are not only professional but also approachable and supportive, and every staff member is so friendly that I truly feel like HOFT is my second home. Besides studying, there are many interesting activities such as visiting libraries, museums, and even seeing bats, which help us learn more about life in the USA. HOFT has created a strong and welcoming community where people from different backgrounds come together to improve their English and start building their dreams for the future. I’m very grateful to be part of this journey.
Jumping from the corporate world straight to Hoft was a huge change for me. Hoft surprised me with the teaching methodology and how serious teachers are regarding our learning journey. For example, after some classes I had the feeling to adjust the level, which was properly handled by the leadership. Hoft is an English school that I would recommend to anyone, not only because it really enhances our vocabulary, grammar, reading and pronunciation, but also because of its location in downtown, being very easy to come to the class. Overall, Hoft has great teachers, staff, and my plan is to study for another 3 semesters before my return to the corporate world. I am so grateful for studying at HOFT, and I will miss the school so bad when my sabbatical period is over. However, I will return to the Big Tech world as a new Andrea, someone who is no longer afraid of positioning herself at the meetings as HOFT enhanced my vocabulary, phrases construction, reading comprehension and speaking with confidence. I recommend HOFT to everyone specially to my colleagues that work for Big Techs, as the school provides the I-20 and we can get the student visa.
The teachers are kind, caring and very knowledgable! The after-school activities were fun, I’m new to Austin and I found my friends here (From many different cultures). The place is kept clean, there’s a very useful kitchen area, a games room, and a yard. Great location next to UT and many food options around.
First of all, I want to say thank you so much about giving me a chance to improve my English at HOFT. They accepted me to transfer from another school very quickly so that I could live near my relative. All of the staff are very friendly and they always welcome and support me. The tuition fee is also affordable for me. Moreover, I love the ways all of teachers have taught me. This is the first semester I study in the US, so they have given me a positive view about education in the US. Besides, HOFT created many activities like potluck, presentations about other countries, and conversation club. I find it very exciting and it’s a good chance to make new friends!
